Great job ! I follow each episodes ! I hope that you will make a list of prices at the end to give us an idea. Donor, Gullwing GRP shell, interior, leather high end works, specific parts, etc... I was thinking around 60K£ ??? I am actually restoring a Triumph TR4 from 1964 and such projects takes time because of rust... I like the idea of taking a good donor in good condition and adapt a superb classic bodywork on, made of fiberglass that will not rust ! How about V5 in England. Does MOT accept such transformation ? What about insurance ? Do you ask for an automotive expertise at the end to have a good insurance cover in case of big damages/fire/theft??? Thanks to share your projects !
Hi from South Africa , I just discovered your channel and I absolutely love what you are doing, I am binge watching all of your builds. I wonder if you can advise me I work for a volunteer ambulance service and we use a fleet of T6.1 transporters. they came with standard suspension which is sagging a bit and makes the vehicle 6cm too low for our stretchers. I found Seikel “Desert” Suspension lift kit for 4MOTION that seems to be a good option to resolve our problem , however they cant get us stock. do you have any other suggestions I can look at?
Those roof vents - if you get them recut with louvres you could bend the slats (if you leave very little at the ends to join them you can bend them without distorting anything - and then you won’t be able to see in. I’ll draw you the CNC DXF file if you would like. Also, what’s the story with the bumper then?
I haven’t described this very well - what I mean is the vents would still be cut from one piece but in such a way you can twist the inner bits to become angled slats - that will make them vents but ones you can’t see into - perhaps that makes more sense?
You've named her - you said she, what's her name and why? will the event be shown on the internet (any like that we can tune into) I imagine everything else is on hold at the moment in order to get her finished.... still taking you up on your offer when your back to come and see her....
No offense but those speaker covers, are so ugly and they do not contour to the B pillar.what about underside of the car ,are you leaving it as is or planning to paint and detail it,looks terrible in present state. I hope you will be able to get the car done in time, I have my doubts.color of interior is still questionable,to me .just doesn’t match the car.that is my opinion only, but I don’t own the car or have any say in how it looks.just continue on with finishing up the car.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Looking great. Can't wait to see the colour in natural daylight.
You two have greet chemistry, your vids are getting better and better, much more relaxed which is great…
Glad you think so!
The gull wing interior does look suspiciously clean compared to everything else in your workplace. I guess it will help put some patina back in ha ha!
Good progress guys, lots of fiddly bits, well done. Oh, btw, use the original cabin light 👍
Great stuff, it looks wonderful
Looking great but not shore about the octopus working under the dashboard!!😄
Good point! 😂

Unfortunately I don’t know the South African stock unfortunately
Have you got the bolt on the left hinge of the drivers door is missing is that on your list 😂
No we took them off on the passenger side for lightness and symmetry 😂
Is that steering wheel an original item or aftermarket? Where did you get it from?
It’s a reproduction, stunning quality from America
