Ford Europe are LED tri-bar daylights removed for EU market, didn't really understood from a video? How would daylights run on EU spec Mustangs? And are all three bars on rear glow red or only two? I guess the third bar at the rear light is for turn signal? Thanks for a response.
Sache0190 Who said it is removed? than how would daylights run in Europe? In EU by law all new cars must have daylights. I don't think that low beam lamps would replace LED daylights.
It was confirmed in the live chat that the front tri-bars will not work. The lower foglights will double as DLRs. In pictures where the headlights are 'on' the tri-bars only look like they are 'on' because they reflect light from the main headlights. I think it's a stupid idea and I do not understand how Ford is not able to keep the tribars as DLRs while Renault (look up the new Clio) can get away with the ridiculously placed DLRs they have.
Erwin Mulder That is a bit disappointing from Ford. Headlights should have LED DLRs, especially with price Mustang comes is some EU countries; it is sadly heavily taxed. Thank you for information
Sache0190 Ford can't change the law though. The tri-bar doesn't meet EU regulations, so it had to be switched off. The daytime running lights didn't meet EU regs, so it had to be cut. Don't blame Ford, blame the regulations of the EU.
Bit annoyed if the LED Tri bar front head lights are not the Day time running lights... Stupid EU laws... If they turn on when I switch the headlights on I guess it isn't that bad. Please say that the tail lamps are orange sequential indicators????? :/
+Rman3196 The front bars are off all the time. They do reflect a fair bit of light from the main headlights though, so it's not too bad looking (especially at night). The rear turn indicator are just the outer bars blinking orange. Sequential turning lights are illegal (somewhere) in Europe it seems.
Certainly looks great in person. Bout Time FORD!!! for far too long the mustang has suffered from terrible designs. Far FAR too much monster truck instead of sports car. For generations the mustang was far too tall heavy bulky and huge, all with econo car proportions at a minivan scale, wheel well clearance was also far too great, what on earth were ford designers thinking? just as well its design lines looked as if it were made by someone blind. shapes lines and forms clashed, and its proportions were completly off the mark. THANKFULLY thats all come to and end. Many may call this mustang too Euro, i say good ridens to the old butt ugly designs from 1970-2014

+wellwh0 All three rear bars light up red. The inner two light up brighter when braking, the outer bars blink orange as turn signal.
Not only did you remove the 3 LED- Stripes as daylights for Europe. You put Halogens instead of LED's into the Fog lights! This is a no buy
Sache0190 Meh, I am gutted by these moves as you are, but I am figuring this is nothing some 'after market' cannot fix.

+Erwin Mulder hey, but doesn't Audi make sequential turn lights? :/ that sucks man...

Next generation Halogen Daylights... FACEPALM
Sache0190 why? they are cool
i would really prefer that kamal curic the cars designer talk about his work on the mustang instead of this person....
