I do prefer this style as well. If others are interested, I do a what is called 3-6-9 very often. On the minute: three pull ups, six pushups and nine air squats. 30 minutes so thirty rounds. In 30 minutes you have done 90 pullups, 180 push ups and 270 air squats. You can add a mile run before and after and then you basically have the Murph.

I think a strength athlete/coach might say if you're doing a 20 min EMOM with 5 reps, then it's probably not heavy enough for you to be strength training

And they would be alright. This is sub optimal for strength. Efficient, but sub optimal
