Seeing how you endured was as much value, maybe more, than the program itself! Seeing how you breathed, how grueling that became, the pain on your hands from the rope - this is how you endure. Until I saw that I really didn’t know. Now that I know I need to challenge myself differently mentally. Thank you for the example!!
Dude throws 150 onto his back like it's nothing. I don't have a rope climb, but I will give this a go today with some pull-ups instead and a 100lb wreck-it bag.
Just did this workout this morning over in the UK. It was stinky and grim. I used 15kg DBs for the Devil Ps and substituted some rope climbs in the later stages to towel pullups. It was still honking 🤮 Many thanks Josh ❤💪
does the US military have longer marches/rucks included in the training program? the conscript NCO course in my country includes a 35-50km/20-30mile march in the first half and another 90-110km/55-70mile march in the other half. both done with about 20kg/45lbs of equipment. the CO course have marches that are even longer than that, up to 160km/100miles. on the internet i have only heard of americans doing marches of max 30miles. is it just a difference in the training philosophy or is the information just hidden away somewhere?
