- ROCKET LEAGUE ODD MAN OUT IS BACK BABY! This time we are stepping it up a level and having 2 secret players. One is a Grand Champ and one is a Diamond. Will the Diamond be able to blend in and will the Grand Champ be able to dumb down his mechanics? Will the Grand Champ confuse things as he may go too far and mechanically look like a Diamond?

I feel like articonu was pretty obvious but what put me on gengar was the personal best shot that was set up perfectly and missed.
and the ceiling shot how he flipped early so itd hit the crossbar
It was the dribbling for me, it’s rare to see a champ good at dribbling let alone using drift properly
Also look at him almost wanting to rebound the ball into the net out of pure instinct. That sold it for me

But thats the universal truth. This one and the fact that every rank that appears in the video is always much harder in our games. Like this diamond could not do anything but diamonds in 2s are skillfull af.

having a gc in this is too easy, they can just play worse but a diamond cant play better

honestly it was kind of obvious who the gc was. he got a flip reset nearly perfectly and then side flipped to sell and on the ceiling shot it was obvious he flipped early so it wouldnt go in
I got the gc but not the diamond lol. When you’re a high rank you know what to look for in other high ranked players so it becomes really obvious. Diamonds and champs all vary so heavily it makes it way harder.
The gc always had perfect setups and recovered the ball way too quickly and smoothly on the dribbles he dropped.
Here’s an idea: reverse odd man out where it’s 5-7 champs and 1 plat, but this time it’s the champs that are disguised and they need to vote everyone except the plat off.
To prevent the champs from just doing champ stuff to find the plat, don’t tell them the actual goal, make them think it’s a normal odd man out.
I just want to observe the chaos.

First time in this series I got it the GC correct because he was using drift frequently for recovery while dribbling and it was too smooth.

The only thing I dont like about this is that you could be a champ but just with really good mechanics so then you have to purposely fail the shots so they don't think your gc even though your champ.
Yeah, but the thing is that’s not the only strat you can do. You can still try and just say you’re good at mechanics. I think higher level players realize there are freestylers so they factor that in

I'm champ 3 and I was thinking I'd get voted out every challenge since I don't really practice air dribbling or flip resets or anything like that. Then he brought out the dribbling challenge and I was shocked at how terrible they all were at dribbling. I guess the free style stuff is more popular these days than the ground game was back in the day.

Gengars dribble recovery was so good that it literally couldn't be anyone else, I'm guessing they all missed that because that was such a give away.
I have suggested this before, but I would still love to see an episode of this where you get SSL's and an RNGenius and do rumble, or the reverse, RNGeniuses and like a pro
I like this idea. Expanding on it a bit, maybe he could do a video, getting an SSL player from each extra mode and playing some games in each mode, they have to figure out which mode the others are SSL in. Maybe throw in some standard SSL players as well.

i knew instantly it was dragoodie since his air dribble i don't understand how no one picks up on his good air roll, it was way better then anybodies, and of course most realize his gc after that super obvious ground recovery. I feel like its easier to know who is gc when you are gc, i don't know

I suspected Gengar when he hit the reset, even if he didn't hit the shot the reset looked so controlled. Then dribbling he had so much control too. He never was flashy he was just consistent which is where I see the differences between the ranks

Flareon had a great recovery after his first shot
Gengar was getting controlled and consistent touches before his ceiling shots and flip resets and and missing on purpose, it was very clearly him for me. He also didn’t participate much and was subconsciously using drift around the map while discussing.

To me it was pretty obvious it was drago when I saw how quick and efficiently he popped and dribbled the ball on his hood and then dropped it intentionally. Plus that setup on his ceiling shot was perfect and he just messed it up on purpose on the last part. Champs kinda threw tbh

The video was great but there was one bad thing about it. When the players were asked to vote some of them voted for what they believed to be the GC and the other what they believed to be the Diamond and I think it should be a seperated vote :D.. Great video tho

I haven’t even finished the video and I can say with confidence that squirtle is the gc. He had insanely good car control and air roll in the 4v4 and then when it came down to doing a shot in front of everyone he played horribly

I figured out articuno right from the start but thought that flareon was the GC the entire time even before he said he was last season
First time getting it right :D. I knew from the beginning that it was Articuno for the diamond. Then, further I noticed that dragoodie2 was a little too good for a champ. I don't how I figured out, since I don't really know my rank(champ smurfes causing me to be stuck in silver 3 XD)
i guessed both of them in like 2 rounds bruh. it was quite obvious he was dumbing down
I think the strategy is to not say you are grand champ even if you are champ this season as it can confuse the people on your side

I’m a Champ 3 in 2’s mostly soloqueueing, have no problem getting to champ1-2 with my friend which is mid plat.
I have no mechanics and can barely airdribble or match some of theirs skills
I think everyone thought it was articuno, but gengar played way too well
