One of the best Bands ever and Morten Harket is one of the best singers in the music scene (even the best for many experts). Take on me is the most known song by a-ha but not the best a-ha song. So you can imagine how good the other songs are, they released 11 studio albums. I would, like many others, recommend The Sun Always Shines On TV, Stay On These Roads, Summer Moved On (the Guiness record song) Crying In The Rain, Hunting High And Low, East Of The Sun West Of The Moon, Scoundrel Days .. to start with. The list is so long because almost all a-ha songs are masterpieces.
Hi Elanur, thanks so much for tuning in and for your comment. I can't believe they had 11 albums out...that is incredible. I will be doing another A-Ha song very soon. They are well loved. Can't wait to hear more 🤩
@@playitagainsue Crying in the Rain is a cover from Everly Brothers, and is as far as I know the only cover on album from a-ha. They got to know the Everly Brothers because their manager used to play with the band in the sixties. All these songs are great!
@@ahkkariq7406 very cool. I don't think i know the song by the Everly Bros either. I will have to check it out. Thanks for tuning in. I have a new video out every day. I hope you can join in on the fun 😀
the sun always shines on tv, hunting high and low, train of thought, cry wolf, scoundrel days, manhattan skyline, living a boys adventure tale, minor earth major sky, lifelines, angel in the snow, move to memphis, crying in the rain, i call your name, ive been losing you, the living daylights, stay on these roads, move to memphis, dark is the night, forever not yours, summer moved on, little black heart, I wish i cared, memorial beach, rolling thunder, sycamore leaves, slender frame, early morning, you are the one, touchy, out of blue comes green, hurry home, the blood that moves the body, here i stand and face the rain, dream myself alive. These are a tiny portion of A-HA’s back catalogue some were single some were on albums maybe you could react to some of these and i’ll subscribe. Take care, A-HA FOREVER ❤️🇳🇴❤️😘
Hi, First of all thankyou for reacting to A-HA I’m from Scotland in the UK and I have been an A-HA fan for the past four decades now. I was 16 in 1985 when this song, take on me came out and i’m 53 now and A-HA are still making music their new album just released in October 2022 called True North. A-HA are criminally underrated and unappreciated because they are a trio of men from Oslo, Norway and people react to take on me and think that’s all they’re known for. A-HA have a huge back catalogue of music and take on me is just a tiny tip of a massive musical rabbit hole. Each of A-HA’S songs are different from this one to the rockier the sun always shines on tv or ballads like hunting high and low but don’t take my word for it check them out. An A-HA song called Summer Moved On got the band two guinness world records for longest note held in a song and longest note held while singing live you should check it out you’d love it and take on me the slow version from mtv unplugged because it sounds like a completely different song. I hope you will continue to check out A-HA’s back catalogue of music. Take care and happy christmas. 😘❤️🇳🇴❤️🏴🎄🥶⛄️🎁
This is amazing info! I love the fact about the longest note held in a song and live. That is super cool. I don't know much about A-HA and am so curious to hear more of their stuff. I will definitely do more of their songs. Thank you so much for your comment and for tuning in. Please keep watching. Have a wonderful day 🤩
Fun fact, the keyboard player in a-ha magne is his name, wrote the famous synth rift to take on me when he was only 14 years old. a-ha are still going to this very day and have recently released a new album
Wow, only 14!!! That is super cool! He is very talented for sure. I did not know they had a new album out. I will have to react to some of the songs off of it. Do you have any recommendations from that new album? Thanks for watching my channel. I appreciate it very much. :)
@@playitagainsue they have released 4 singles from the new album. All are on TH-cam . All are from a movie about the album. So the songs are, I’m in, you have what it takes, as if , and true north
I love to see two ladies roughly my own age reacting to a-ha. You have got many suggestions already, and my only suggestion is that you react to the follow up, The sun always shines on TV as your next song. In the beginning of the video you get to see what happens with the two in the Take on me video. The Train of Thought video is based on a student film, Commuter, which was the inspiration for the Take on me video. The creator of Commuter was hired to draw the Take on me video. It took two drawers four months to finish the 3000 drawings that was used in Take on me, by using a technique called rotoscoping, where you film at first, and then draw over the frames to create the cartoon effect. I subscribe, and can't wait for your next reaction to a-ha. Merry Christmas from Norway!
They are the ONLY Norwegian band/artist to make it to number 1 in the US. Two others have reached top 10: Nico & Vinz with the song «Am I Wrong» reached #4 in 2014, and of course there is Ylvis with «The Fox», reaching #6 in 2013😊
If you liked this one,try ,,Stay on these Roads'' from A-HA!
Excellent! Thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate you watching. I post new videos everyday. I hope you come back another time 🤩
