Thanks dor this, the large pastic backing in my freezer had filled with ice which was stopping the fan from spinning, smashed it all up with a rolling pin and tested the fan like you did with a 9v battery, all working so put it all in now its working again, saved me having to buy another fridge freezer so many thanks
Do you know if all hotpoint fridge freezers are set up in a similar way? I have an ff175b which the fridge stopped working on yesterday - I assumed the fan would be located behind the back panel in the fridge - going to take it apart this evening and see what's going on
Hi there! I have followed the steps for cooling fan. What I have found out is that the fan is working but it does not receive power. It does work on a 12 volt power supply but it does not receive power to turn. I have called an electrician to check and he said that it must be a transformer somewhere. Can you please tip me on that direction!!! That would be a great help! Thank you!
The fan model number is 110R037D043 It's a 12v 0.13A If you do a Google search of the model number so you can find the best price for you and in your country.
