Hotpoint FUFL1810, Freezer Is working, but refrigerator is not cooling. Here is how to fix it if you have the same problem as I had and save you money on not having to call out an engineer to repair it. The fan model number is 110R037D043 It's a 12v 0.13A If you do a Google search of the model number so you can find the best price for you and in your country.
Just got myself one of these !
Hi there! I have followed the steps for cooling fan. What I have found out is that the fan is working but it does not receive power. It does work on a 12 volt power supply but it does not receive power to turn. I have called an electrician to check and he said that it must be a transformer somewhere. Can you please tip me on that direction!!! That would be a great help! Thank you!
Thanks dor this, the large pastic backing in my freezer had filled with ice which was stopping the fan from spinning, smashed it all up with a rolling pin and tested the fan like you did with a 9v battery, all working so put it all in now its working again, saved me having to buy another fridge freezer so many thanks
Do you know if all hotpoint fridge freezers are set up in a similar way? I have an ff175b which the fridge stopped working on yesterday - I assumed the fan would be located behind the back panel in the fridge - going to take it apart this evening and see what's going on
Just a question about the indicator mine is white and seems dry ? On the website it says pink hot turns blue cold . . This is confusing when bag says recharge when blue turns to pink
1500ml every 4 days is less than the average that humans breath out alone. Most of the moisture in your home is because of you & the other breathing beings in your home.
Can I use a smart plug with this to use as a timer? ie Will it switch on from the wall or would I need to press the on button after plugging in?
Exactly what im looking for!
You use this with a controller as long as it has a manual on off switch. I bought this same brand slightly different but this version will work
These items are useless and break within 12 months
Thanks for this i think this is the problem only fans i can get in uk seem to be 0.15 amps. But should work.

Hay Stevo, Thank you for watching. Just to let you know, Mine are still going strong, using them exactly the same way I talked about in the video. Happy New year to you as well bud. 🤜

Great explanation.
How long each day were you using it for mate, assume the 500ml is for all day use?
Sorry for the late reply MG. Yes, that will 500ml max for a 24 hour run, but can be less depending on how humid the air is. I'm using it on a timer now, so it's on for an hour, then off for an hour and so on, just to help with the bills.
I just bought similar fridge horrible noisy
They can be, I have seen others say the same thing 😕
