Also what i have seen multiple times on multille models..... ALWAYS run your screens brightness at or below half and on long stretches before a turn just turn the screen off. Also unplug and re plug the mount often. Keep contacts clean. The brightness is the moat important. These will stop keeping up so if the screen is bright it will always struggle to even keep it on and wont charge it.
My TND 550 and my friends both did the same thing in the last 2 week's. I wonder if some update screwed it up. I tried new fuses, new battery and different cords. Nothing helped
@@truckertrashdustin I try to check out it's rt against an atlas. Today going from burley id to new ulm mn. I shoulda gone 84 to 15 to 90. I followed gps 20, 87,287 etc on some 2 lane roads and got some snow. I did have a moose cross in front, pretty cool. But in heavier snow it would've suuucked.
@georgeperkins4171 I feel ya man... I just got on Hwy 36 in Missouri and I should have went to 70. I didn't realize that the next Pilot is 274 miles. I need fuel before that... Dammit..

I never had any problems with all my past GPS units.
Seems to be working well now.

Mine just picks bad routes that are way out of the way. In Amarillo it had me getting off and getting back on the loop
Right!!!!
Routes you the long way and tells you to get off the highway and get right back on.
