I have 2 sets of 5 banks of 60v capacitors. The bank will contain 5 sets of 13.5v (5*2.7v=13.5v) Each bank is consisting of 5 sets of 13.5v to make a 60v the total voltage of 60v . Using a battery isolator can I charge the two banks using a 12v car alternator? Will capacitors be overcharged and what kind of safety device I need to protect the capacitor banks?

I noticed no one ever gave you an answer. I don't think people know this stuff as well as they should.

I don't think that the person/entity that took the time to make this video either knows or can give a flying @#$%.
And I for one will never buy expensive technology from anyone without the knowledge, smarts and interest to give me good customer attention - they are just as likely to leave me stranded AFTER they have my money.

Seems to be if "FPV-POWER Maxwell Super Capacitors" were doing their job properly as a supplier, then any re-seller like "Kayak Batteries" should be able to obtain 6-capacitor units for resale without all that labour-intensive dismantling.
At the end of the day, 12-14 volt systems are far more common (even without taking vehicles into account) than 48 volt systems.
If the 48 volt unit is only $200, then there is no way that the 12 volt unit should have dismantling/reassembly costs added to the point of costing 3/4 of the original.
    MAJOR marketing failure, IMHO.

Everyone is entitled to their honest opinion, including yours.... We move these by the tonnes each month. Hence I don't see or smell any hint of any marketing failure here.
      Merry Christmas.👍

@@iangoh7289 All very well, but you don't address my main 'complaint'.
The 48V units have (if I understand correctly) 3 of the 6-cap shrink-wrapped setups inside.
But at one point in your vid you use the fact that you have to DISMANTLE something already constructed so as to facilitate the 6-cell unit (with new BMS) to the public - as the reason they cost 3/4 of the units with 4 times the power.
So why exactly cannot YOUR supplier forward some 6-cell units directly, so as to make all that labour unnecessary and REDUCE the selling price to the public?
This is an honest question: How can they defend selling "only" 48V systems to you re-sellers... when 12V is far more common?
It wasn't a criticism of you, but of what appears to be a serious screwup on their part - underestimating (or not caring) about a significant market.
