What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

I love that you speak at a normal volume and normal pace. I personally dont get any triggers when ASMR vids have people talking slowly or whispering.
What really elevates this video is the authenticity. One of my main triggers is someone paying close attention, which is often difficult to find in medical videos because they're so often performative or descriptive.
The attention you were paying, and the response from the patient were so real, it was awesome. More of this!
😀👍🏽👍🏽 an attentive medical professional gets me with ASMR. It has to be authentic and detailed.
Too many ASMRtists try to be humorous with their videos, which really seems to just goes against the point of ASMR. Also doesn’t help that many aren’t as good at acting as they’d like to think, so the videos can be more cringey than relaxing

Came here for the ASMR, and so far I'm spending the whole time in amazement at how the slit lamp controls work
It’s quite possibly the best optical device around
I love using a slit lamp at work, it is so cool being able to look closely at peoples eyes. And if you use a big enough magnification (I think that's the word in enlish?) you can sometimes see each individual red bloodcell in some of the veins.
This was my #1 ASMR trigger as a child, I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found your channel!!!

I remember when I was a child, I had an eye exam, they did all the basic tests on me and my dad and I remember it being one of the most relaxing moments of my life. Thank you for bringing back those feelings 😁👍

Being able to see your hands fiddling with the different dials and mechanisms is giving me crazy tingles!
Also, I think this is the perfect theme for this type of video. Sometimes I get mild secondhand embarrassment watching active participant ASMR (I'm not sure why, maybe just worrying the person helping out think it's weird? ) but this feels more natural since it's a situation in which you would normally have a patient or client. I hope that makes sense!

Always looked for a video like this! I love the sound of the dial when the lamp is adjusted even at real appointments it makes me feel tingly now I can have that whenever!

It made it awkward not knowing if she was there for an appointment or like a friend
He answered a comment regarding if he knew the patient, she’s family

I've recently had my eye test and the optometrist used the Volk lens too. Always amazes me that with all the hi tech equipment, u still need to manually hold this lens in front of the eye!

It's these sort of examinations in real life that give me ASMR, I get it a little bit watching the videos but nothing like the intensity of been part of the exam or whatever.
