    Thanks for another great video! Instead of a stethoscope, I use a long screwdriver and put the handle in my ear.
    I did this replacement on my car a while ago, made a world of difference!

      Nice one Ross - I've never tried the screwdriver trick but glad to hear it works! My car is deffinitely quieter now 👍

    I had an EL once, doesn't seem like much changed, it looks very familiar. I did have the leaking P/S pump that played havoc with the alternator.
    Pulling that fan assembly out brought back memories too.

      Yeah they are simple cars to work on. A joy really. Everything is easily accessed and parts are cheap.

    Just today water pump pulley it’s ran off , I hate how they made plastic pulley Ford , I don’t trust that no more ,
    So to boys if u have like those cars replace every plastic pulley rubbish ,,,

      Yep I agree!... metal pulleys would have been better...

    You need to tuck the fan shroud into the two mounts at the bottom of the radiator when you put it back in. You don’t just chuck it in and bolt it to the top.
