I have one gripe with the naration... Every time it says "he said", it has separate expression, as if it were a new sentence. Really irksome.

I enjoyed the first Jack Reacher book but fortunately he didn't talk much about guns in it. In this book he goes into more technical details about guns and other things, and he's as ignorant, especially about guns, as an anti-gun journalist writing a gun-control article. Practically everything he says about bullets and their effect is wrong. Bullets are controlled almost completely by physical laws and Child's understanding of these are totally inaccurate.
