While the episodes aren't that high quality, as a fan of the authors work on which this anime is based on. It is a very good novel which takes a bit to warm up but gets very good.
I'm 4 episodes in and there aren't any good visuals like in the opening. It's your typical budget donghua art and animation; Nothing rotoscoped or abstract just plain quality art and animation. Staying tuned for any changes in art quality though.

Nobody is critiquing it for what it's worth even in the forums so it's a rational obligation to have that perspective going in unaware of the series' background. Also, just finished episode 5 last week and there's 4 different cultivation systems mentioned without elaboration (There are 4 fansub groups that have picked up this series and neither of them have good explanation of the gacha system/martial arts premise). At least the fight choreography was well animated between the criminals and Corporation in episode 5.
Wrong. There r actually many good donghua better than this. Mo dao zu shi, lie huo jiao chou and tian guan ci fu. One the most beautiful storyline with beautiful animations. Also pls refer to Chinese animation as donghua not anime.
Great reaction! :) I think that japan release miles of animes per ear (I am not saying they are bad), but i feel like onece a year China makes one release that surpass all the other by FAR, the animation is peak! And the music so addictive.
I just finished the second season and I was thoroughly impressed.. easily the most slept on anime of 2024.. The last episode of season 2 is such a twist but it has a surprise ending.. Love Spare me Great Lord!! I hope they keep it going with a third season!! 🔮⚔️

As they also have future/Past timeline, Hype Fighting scene, Plot Fvcking twist. Well The Anime, Wasn't really expecting Of it When it came out. All of Anime in chinese ends Up Being a shit. Check out the manhua

yee cuz it's only 12 episode while the manhua is 400+ rn, and its had past and future timeline, they wouldnt be able to capture it in 12 episode, just like tower of god, god of highschool.

It has moments of really good animation and there is one episode that’s rally fluid for some reason
