Completely disassemble the weapon into it's base components. Anything with a serial number or any kind of identification destroy. Then dispose of each part into a different place Feel free to smash the parts with a hammer for good measure. Not that I've ever done this or anything.
You should goto Tobermory up in Ontario and look in the water there. It's a very popular swimming spot in Canada with alot of cliff jumping spots and such.

I so glad my home country has a recycling system that pays you 10cents per every can you return to the store. They have machine you stick them in and it counts them,crushes them for scrap and pays out.

We used to tube down an eight mile stretch and dump our empty's as we finished them. It was wrong, I know. i don't have an excuse. We had so much fun. The girls in their tiny jean cut offs. Lots of cheek action back in the early 70's.
