I'm just getting started in the world of Hammock camping and so far the best part of it is discovering Shug. I haven't even gotten to camp yet and I'm already loving it!

Thank you so much for saying I AM an alcoholic. I watched my father go through alcoholism and attended some AA meetings with him for support. Recovery is not something that ever stops. I'm happy you found an outlet for it.
It is like losing a part of you. Searching for the good in yourself. Still lives in me but I got the control now. Never easy but also is not hard for me personally. I feel the desire to be a toss-pot was lifted away. Shame works wonders.

I learned much of what I know about hammocks from your excellent instructional videos back in the early hammock forum days, and similarly, watching Billy Ray demonstrate his techniques over the past year gave me the confidence to pick up a chainsaw for first time in my life and do quite a bit of work with it. I am almost 6 years sober. I can COMPLETELY relate to that desire for a special drink!! I have a shameful sugary beverage that I like but this looks like an interesting and ritualistic option!! I do like coffee!! This one spoke to me Shug!!! I also got my Superior Gear Hammock yesterday!!

Boy howdy that looked like a tasty shot! Like yourself with backpacking, that BBR fella is a master of his craft. He is equally as good of a teacher. I learned much of what I know about hammocks from your excellent instructional videos back in the early hammock forum days, and similarly, watching Billy Ray demonstrate his techniques over the past year gave me the confidence to pick up a chainsaw for first time in my life and do quite a bit of work with it. I love following channels like yours- its Educational, Inspirational and Entertaining!
