- Welcome back, everyone! Today, I’m pushing the limits of knife making once again by transforming a handful of raw metal blades into one of the sharpest knives I’ve ever crafted. If you love forging knives, Damascus steel, and high-carbon steel blades, this is a video you won’t want to miss!
What You’ll See in This Video:
🔹 The complete blacksmithing process, from raw metal to a razor-sharp knife

🔹 The final sharpness test - cutting through different materials with ease
💥 This project was a challenge, but as a bladesmith, I love taking on difficult builds and pushing my skills further. The result? A knife that’s not just functional but also a true work of art.

This turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!! This is one of my FAVORITE knives I've seen you make (and I have watched a lot of your videos) This is definitely in the TOP 3!! And you make it look SO EASY!! But I know it sure is not!!! And you made such a plain piece of wood into such a beautiful, usable handle. Typically knife making channels will use expensive, rare woods, or use wood burls, or dyed woods... and they are beautiful too... but they are show pieces and cost way too much money for them to be actually used... Although I do appreciate the art in those "exotic" knives, I would much rather spend my hard earned money on a beautiful knife that I will use, will keep a sharp edge, be comfortable, and LOOK AMAZING! - And that is what your knives seem to be mostly. Not a show piece that you would keep in a glass case because it's made from diamonds and gold lol, and not a plain Walmart knife that you have to constantly sharped and wouldn't think of showing off toa friend. Yours are are a mix of both. And that is exactly what I would make if I had the tools, time, & temper to create my own.
- I tried to figured out what language you guys were speaking but it was too difficult for me to hear clear enough... I like trying to identify languages that I don't read or speak... I've also been trying to figure out where you are located, but I really haven't been able to figure it out... yet! :) Maybe one day soon I'll figure it out.... I don't want to offend you by guessing wrong, and so I hope you understand that it is only out of fun that I'm trying to guess... It has been difficult mostly because any products you use that have writing on them are in English, so that hasn't been much help LOL But I'm pretty sure you're in Europe and but I think you could also be in Canada too... Please don't tell me where, though... BUT if I am on the right path I hope that you will let me know :)
THANK YOU for sharing you talent with us all... it really is most enjoyable watching a skilled craftsman work on something that is so foreign to work I am typically involved in (which is computers and technology) It must have takign you a long time to learn how do to what you do, and I really appreciate the hard work it takes to make your works of art :)
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and detailed comment! I'm truly honored to hear that this knife ranks among your favorites-it's comments like yours that make all the hard work worthwhile.
I always aim to create knives that are not only beautiful but also practical for everyday use. I believe in crafting pieces that are both art and tools, and I'm glad you appreciate that balance.
As for the language and location details, I understand the curiosity! I'm actually based in Azerbaijan-a place where East meets West, which might explain some of the unique cultural influences you sense. I really appreciate your support and interest in my craft, especially coming from someone whose world is so different.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts, and I hope my future videos continue to inspire you as much as your comment has inspired me!

Der Mann weiß was er tut. Klasse Job. Wie kann man die Messer erwerben?
Such a blade definitely needs to be put on display. The level of craftsmanship exceeds the limits of what is acceptable! Indeed, the metal recognizes you as its owner!🎉🎉🎉
I love it. It’s real. It is not pretentious.
beautiful knife excellent workmanship!
Thank you, I appreciate your kind words! 😊🔪
Co to za posypka i co to robi ? Niesamowite ile z tym metalem zabiegów.A Pan Kowal prawdziwy mistrz w swoim fachu ! 😎👍👏

Love the work and the final result!!! Just one suggestion, when showing welding scenes, add an additional dark filter in the video, it really helps for someone like me who has sensitive eyes, thanks!

While the damascus is certainly beautiful, there is a big gap between handle and blade at the ricasso. You can see it during fitting the handle and at the end of the video from 21:02 on (right/lower scale)
Nice pattern and blade shape. (Kukri?)

Dude.... the handle...
In India they only use the welding glass and hold the piece their welding with their toes 👍
you need a plasma cutter for shaping your blades not a large grinder to cut them out you still can finish them anyway you want
I appreciate the suggestion, but I prefer using a grinder for a more controlled shaping process.
wasn't talking about finishing I was referring to the rough grinds to remove extra material before you started grinding maybe stay away from your lines by 3 or 4 mms'
Welding in sunglasses 😂😂
Not sunglasses😂
Do you sell your knives?

Is it just me, or does your work area look really smokey? SO not healthy....
Love the work tough.
When will you make a different knife?? You always make the same knife and it’s getting boring
Liked the process but it is a junk...sorry.
