The first few are very cute, then it goes more epic, then sad, then hillarious, and back, and forth. But I'm starting to miss the utter cuteness of the first few as I watch through xD

+Scarlet Fiend I heard it was because winn didn't know how to draw/animate normal clothes when he first started, so he just drew swimsuits instead. It became a bit of a gag, so winn stuck with it. I'm not 100% sure this is true though. ...It's most likely a fetish too, haha. ^^;;

Hell, some people even draw in Flash directly, but I can't do that. So let's say theres about 10 different shots of about 2 fully animated charaters per vid, it takes only an hour of work to add skrits. No, even half an hour since the opponent most of the time was dressed. Of course this is very well done work, but what I learnt in school is that an animation project is never finished. (Don't half-ass your work)

People say the artist draw the touhou girls with swimsuits cuz it's easier than drawing their ordinary clothes, however we see several of them in normal getup. EWI stands for Electric Wind Instrument, To my knowledge it's the wind version of a synth
ooooh, so it's a straight up electric instrament not just an artificial sound created from, say, a music making program
There might be a complicated way to recreate an EWI's sound via sound editing, but idk
The actual instrument drawn is apparently a electric clarinet, but not the sound I think
