- Grove street yard is my small shunting layout that I take to exhibitions. Featured in Model Rail magazine, it was built on a meagre budget using much recycled material. This overview is the first of a series of videos that will show its construction, electrics, as well as how the scrapyard was put together.
Thank you. Just what I am looking for though it'll be my first layout and given that I will be in rented accomodation, a shunting yard will be my best option. I will have fewer tracks and will build it up over the years, but its definetly a great inspiration. Thank you for this video.
Was recommended this after the Monday Club of 2 November 2020! Excellent!
A nice reminder of your layout. a great example of what can be achieved in a small place on a budget.
I love the idea of a shunting yard
So cool Jen 👍🏻
Hi J K & Z K, I`m glad to see these two layouts were kept safe in the house, because they are Tops! Nice little chat jennifer, and well directed too, even the quirky ending in B W. Loved it all. Keep Shunting! U2

Looking forward to part 2.
Gave me great ideas
Super most enjoyable
Thanks, this video really helped but you think you could do a video in the future on how to modify kits or kit bash?I want to start doing it but I'm not sure what to do
A lot of it I make up as I go along. I'm really more of a rat rodder with kits, just bashing the bits around until I get something that looks okay but isn't necessarily accurate.
Hi, Again I think I seen this layout at secc in Glasgow back in 1997 is that correct?i may be mistaken, excellent short layout! I have subscribed to your channel,I come from a large railway oriented family.my great grandfather was head station master of the Caledonian in Edinburgh.
brava, super!
Grazie!
Is that a Royal Navy uniform you're wearing?
The jumper is, but the polo shirt underneath is from the company I work for now. The Navy jumper is nice and warm so I still wear it in winter at work.
