we dont know if we are the only ones, but imagine if, through planets, stars, blackholes, galaxies, wormholes, tetraverses, universes, multiverses, megaverses, xenoverses, hyperverses, omniverses, allomniverses, metaverses, betaverses, alphaverses, boxes, unnamedverses, nonameverses, qiqiqiqiqiverses, allverses, cosamitoseneerefeginosamaladesiqhuemisqwierohmis-verses and other types of "verses", and we were the only highly evolved life forms, that would be incredible, but also scary, cause one asteriod could destroy all life on earth and that would be it, no ruler, just everything else doing nothing except colliding, there would be no life interacting or doing anything, but if humans dont go extinct, we could take and own everything for the human race

+VideoAudioDisco09 Dude are you fucking insane..? First of all, I didn't decide that the universe is perfectly organized and tuned, it just is that way idiot! All the different laws of physics cooperate to sustain an enviroment consisted of space, time, matter, energy etc. that we humans call universe. So yeah it is perfectly organized and tuned, and not because i said it... Second, when i said we are the meaning of the universes existence i didn't mean we humans, i meant life in general, but i guess you are too much of an idiot to understand it. If there is a meaning to the universe existing, then what other is it than life? As for the 'theist' thing you said, no comment...

***** No. If it really infinite.... it will have a code to make the world auto generate.... so the further u explore, the more storage in waste it your computer. if u dont explore, it wont generate. and once u're run out of storage in your computer, it might be crash? idk. but it will keep generate. that what infinite in a game mean.

That’s really quite lovely! I would love to see a children’s version of this which started out with three or four common objects for reference such as a car, a person, a coin, and a grain of sand. Once the reference was established slowly for the kid by going up and down that brief continuum, then zoom all the way in and all the way out. Another way to do it might be to divide it into “internal and external to ‘me’” e.g. start with an image of a child and zoom in on that image, and take it all the way down to Planck length and then all the way out to the observable universe. Cheers! Many thanks for this video!

Man I keep throwing my head back in shock at how much bigger things there are in the universe.
One thing I am really curious of is if we will be able to locate and determine another planet that holds life. Earth may be considered an unusual planet as we know it, but the odds that another planet hosting life (or will/has hosted life) must be highly possible, right? And what state of "life" would that be? Just nucleic acid or even advanced life forms? Really interesting to think about.
    I started rambling, haha, sorry.

    • @angelpygs72
      @angelpygs72 9 ปีที่แล้ว +6

dude, we say the observable universe because our telescopes are powerful enough to see beyond, but there is literally no light or anything coming from that far away, because light, at that distance, can take millions to billions of years to reach us, which means when we look there, at the edge, we're literally seeing the beginning of the universe. to prove it, if the sun suddenly vanished, we would tell eight minute later, and the even scarier part is, we would still see light bouncing off the moon for a split second, and we would clearly see it for another seven, as it continued to bounce off of jupiter, so basically we would be seeing sunlight from a non-existent sun. mind… blown.

Let me ask you something, is you a human being? If the answer is yes, is you a product of a human egg & a sperm? Or have you spent your years of existence denying the source of your past? Only to question why you are alive?
Just be grateful to GOD that you are breathing & living. Accept that there is a greater, all knowing being that have designed this world for you. Or not, I won't tell you how to live on with your life. But I guarantee you that once you accept the ultimate truth, your life will be so much better. At least mine is.

Every star can have tens of planets, every planet can have tens of satellites and on every in habitable zone may be life in millions of forms like on Earth and you really believe that all this was created for humankind living on this insignificant pale blue dot by some supernatural invisible power called _God_ that is most concerned about believing in him, having other gods, how I use my genitals or if I immolate him an animal? Science is a concept of working.
Theories are tools in that concept.
We can't know an "objective truth" (whatever this exactly is when we can't speak of it, just have this strange feeling) only a functional truth, because we can't deny the possibility of being brains in a tank or living in a matrix.
So it makes no difference, if you have a working concept or a concept of working that actually works (predictive tools).
The tools are working and that mattes.
As you see it depends just on what works (empirical), never what might be true (epistemological).
This question of epistemology has no relevance at all. That is why most philosophies are waste of time. Religion anyway, which is a fix mindset.

So quarks typically exist around 10^-18m. 5 femtometers (nuclei) 5x10^-15m. A light year is 9.4x10^15m. Compared to 1 meter, the distance to our fundamental particles is 10^-15m, 1 meter to a light year is 10^15m, following me here? Even though 10^-15m is very very very very very very small. From 0 it is the same distance as 10^15m. When it comes to infinity, neither of these scales are larger or smaller than the other, they're the same, at any point. With infinity, small or large don't exist. Small and large are only relative to an observer. You can infinitely always add 1 or subtract 1. I'm getting a headache, going to bed.

      Westerlund 1,951-2,544 solar diameters
      UY Scuti 1,708 solar diameters
      NML Cygni 1,650 solar diameters
WOH G64 1,540 SD This would be the largest star in the LMC, but is unusual in position and motion and might still be a foreground halo giant.
      VX Sagittarii 1,520 SD
      KW Sagittarii 1,460 SD
      KY Cygni 1,420-2,850 SD
VY Canis Majoris 1,420 Once thought to be a star so large that it contradicted stellar evolutionary theory, improved measurements have brought it down to size.

Yup, relative to the Earth, at the same scale, a Minecraft world on the PC version can expand up to 32,000,000 meters/blocks, in all four directions - that's equivalent to 1,024,000,000 (1.024 billion) kilometers squared, or, if you want to include the vertical building area, it's 262,144,000 (262.144 million) cubic kilometers.
