Hi Faith, I say enjoy your new iron, your new work bag, and your new mug….your purchases were not excessive, no need to feel guilty, but I understand how you feel, I go through the same thing. You work hard, you pay your bills, you care for your family. There are times when we spend a little more and there are times when we can save a little more. It all balances out. I’ve already moved on from my guilt tripping. Plus the comments I got on this video (including yours) helped.

We work hard for the money and deserve to treat ourselves once in a while nothing wrong with that. I used to impulse buy sometimes but I stopped that now I ask do I want this or do I need this. I also always set aside money for savings because we never know when we will need something.
Thank you for being here again @SilentDiariess. I used to have sinking funds for my wants but I wasn’t disciplined enough. Now, I have to start again. Thanks for the tips. Moving forward, I should always ask myself, do I want this or do I need this.
I like your new office bag and mug. great choice, don't be guilty. you need them❤ Also you can cut down your expense by purchasing cheap washing machine and do laundry at home, in my country send clothes to laundry is more expensive + transportation. sometimes a good purchasing is a good investment, make sure to choose good quality one and buy when discount😊
My new office bag and mug are of good qualities and I like using them. Thank you. ❤ I have been considering buying an automatic washing machine but until now I’m still undecided. I usually do hand washing but if I have bedsheets, towels and other heavy clothing, I send them to the laundry shop like twice a month, sometimes once. Nway, thanks for watching.
I always love Watching your videos faith, at the beginning of the video I was smiling at the misfortune of your pants and iron(shit happens😊) then it changed when buying the iron, the wants versus needs conversation, we all have that problem at times😂, it's great to feel free even if for 5 minutes, so tell yourself that no more self guilt tripping, tell yourself everything has a purpose in our lives, teaches us, so live laugh and love faith, you not alone in the "should we or shouldn't we😂😊

If you assign your savings to different categories when you budget you won't feel guilty when you spend from those categories. Eg. Some savings should be assigned to unexpected household emergency expenses and some to leisure or whatever.So when your iron breaks suddenly you look and see how much is in the unexpected household emergency category and you use from that to buy your iron. Because you will always have unexpected household emergencies so you might as well allocate some money for that as you can. And then it's OK to spend that when the unexpected happens. That's what I do.

i think if you heat up the iron and use a rag to wipe the melted fabric off. they also make hot iron cleaner.

I used to be an impulse buyer haha. But when I set out to simplify my life years back, I now do everything with intention especially in buying material things. Napaisip din ako dun hahaha.
I’m not really an impulsive buyer but with online shopping it makes everything so much easier. Haha! The stuff you want is just a click away. I still consider myself kuripot na Ilocana but sometimes I just have to give in to my wants but still being mindful (most of the time) of what I buy.

i take care of all,bills groceries and meds first. if i want something i save up for it. by time i get money saved i dont want the item any more lol. if i need something i try to get it soon as possible. but im not one for having alot od stuff.
Hello Sherry, thanks for sharing. I always tell myself that if I want something, I have to save for it first but half of the time I fail. But moving forward, I have to be strict about it. Same, I don’t want a lot of stuff sitting around with no use.

Hello sis, salamat sa suggestion. I tried 1 biogesic pero di kinaya kasi makapal yong dumikit na burnt fabric. Nasasayangan din ako sa biogesic. After biogesic, I tried asin and yon yong nakapatanggal talaga.
