I was gifted this exact RevAir bundle for Christmas and I think it’s the best gift I’ve ever received. I’ve literally wanted one for years but I didn’t think I’d use it enough to justify the price but boy was I wrong! I am forever grateful to have been gifted one.

To be fair tho, I’ve had it for MAAANY years! AND, I’ve traveled with it, and given it out to people to borrow on their own, so there’s been a lot of wear and tear out on it 💯💯❤️
It only has a 1 or 2 year warranty
@@LayLa-jw4pr Oh Noooo! I was close to purchasing this contraption years ago. I'm glad I reconsidered. The REVLON paddle brush hair dryer works great, and it was only $35. I have had it for at least 5 years.

Hey Whit!! Just a heads up: In the instructions, it says to not have it on high temp with tension level 1! There's not enough airflow going through and it'll get much hotter than it's supposed to! with levels 2-7, you can put it on high🥰 I bought this revair for the blackfriday sale, and they can take all my monies xD I'm SO IMPRESSED. Such a wonderful device!! Thanks for the tutorial!!😂😂
How much was the discount around BF? That is when I make my big ticket purchases. Thanks for the heads up on the heat. I always wondered was ot really that great of a dryer.. I have shoulder issues and just detailing is tough and with this you have to deranle each price before drying.
@@DivaDen I think last year it might it was at least $100 off. I remember informing my friend. I do the same thing, I try to save big ticket items to BF.
@@DivaDen The black friday total package was 399 (normally over 540 I think), and the revair + the bonus weekender bag ($50)was around $340-360. The black friday sale lasted a long time (until January, was renamed Total Sleigh package sale but the same discount) I personally saved up for years and bought the total package and other accessories. I also got insurance to make sure that it would be covered for at least 4 years since it was an investment😅♥
About the shoulder injury...honestly the revair can be a little arm intensive because of holding it. But for me, I just rest my arm on my knee (or a counter) as I Rev. If you're unsure, know that during black friday sales, you have 60 days to try it before returning (Jan 31st). I would also recommend getting the wand holder to make it easier to put down, because that holder that comes with the machine isn't that secure aka the wand fell off a few times. Good luck to you!!😍

It's so amazing how fast your hair grows.
For anyone else have a part issue: The wand and hose of the new model works interchangeably with the old model. Revair designed it that way. So you have the option of just getting the replacement part or having the new unit that is compatible with the old pieces.
My boyfriend bought me this for Valentine’s Day. I love it. My cat just jumped so hard when you were demonstrating how smooth the sound is lolz

I used mine this morning after my stylist used it on me at the salon. I was so impressed with her Rev Air v Dyson test. The RevAir results were amazing and smoother than the Dyson. 25 minutes to RevAir my entire head which will be faster once I get the hang of using it. I didn't realize those were hair ties and cut them off. 😮

I had the same fight with myself and I ended up selling the old one. I got the weekend duffel bag to store mine. Really helped with the dust. The smaller size was definitely worth the upgrade.

Your hair is BEAUTIFUL and healthy!! I love that style, and your hair has so much volume body and bounce to it. I've enjoyed watching this video and working towards healthy hair...not worrying about how long it takes to get long, although it's a good length now.

Thank you for your review! It’s a life saver for a natural. I love it! I’m going try your settings because my ends don’t look as good as yours yours.
XO! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video Reign!! If your ends are a little rough, give them a trim! If they’re healthy but still looking rough, make sure you twist your hair all the way down to the very ends! THEN dry them in the revair while the twists are still in, making sure that the ends are completely dry BEFORE you unravel them to continue drying. That will make sure that as you’re stretching the hair, your ends stay looking curly! And yes! Reducing the tension is key! 💯💯❤️

If it makes you feel any better, mine also broke down and I contacted the company about it. Mine was under warranty so I got a replacement nozzle for free but because of the plastic they used in the first one they informed me that anything outside of their products was going to deteriorate the Revair. Needless to say, my new nozzle broke down after three more weeks.
So... I also bought the new Revair and because they used like... Titanium or some kind of metal (probably aluminum), with a special coating so it doesn't overheat, to build it this time I don't think it'll break down nearly as easily.

I had the big bulky one. My handle did the same thing. Came out with wires showing. I replaced the handle and the same thing happened within 3 months of minimal use, I eventually threw the entire thing away. Hopefully, I will get to try out the new one soon. Thanks for Sharing

If you have the original revair the instructions state if using air speed level 1 use low or no heat. ( Do not use the high ( II ) tempetature setting unless using an air speed level of 2 or higher. The instructions may be diferent with the new revair.

Okay now after seeing yours I'm not sure which one I have because mine came with a bag. I bought one for an early Christmas gift. It is expensive but it has saved me so much time when I do my silk presses or stretching my hair I even use it on my daughter and she is not afraid of it.
I gave up on the RevAir as it took forever on my hair. Love your method. Will try it out.
Whitney I am watching the video and I am sure I will love it. I wanted to ask if you can give tips on doing a silk press at home with revair or blow dryer. There is hope for me ! Im gonna have to do the textured look ❤ I don’t like how straight my hair gets with the revair. I prefer the fluffy cloud or textured look.
If you do have the old one and want it, resale it and buy the new one. That's what I did, and it sold instantly.
I use a Dyson, and I love it. Might think about getting the Revair to see if it works for my hair

I’ve had my revair for almost 2 years and I absolutely love it. I use it for stretches twist outs or blow dried looks. I don’t like how big it it but I’m definitely not buying a new one. Luckily it fits in my linen closet so I’ll deal with it but I’m not throwing away $350
Thank you for this review. Revairs customer service is top notch. They sent me a new hose because the old one stopped llatching and shortly sfter I noticed a crack in the nozzle and they sent a new nozzle and informed me that mine was sent before they included instructions to NOT use oil. The rep said they later learned that oils caused the plastic to crack. If using ouls caused your nozzle to fall apart they probably wouldve sent you a new one because yours was purchased before mine. On the other hand since you paid for this it reinforcess that you think its worth it. I think I saw instructions that mentioned tapping at the scalp with the nozzle and I noticed that keeps ot from getting too hot on my scalp.
I need this I have a differently abled daughter that has a ton of hair and it’s very very difficult to wash her hair let alone dry it this just might be a saving grace for her and me as well thanks for the review

Great review!! You hit all the points important about the new Revair. However, no matter how much they've improved it, I just can't spend $400+ for a hair dryer.
Would love to see a completely Protein-free moisturizing deep conditioner in the Melanin haircare line. 🤞🏽

@allblackeverything206 I didn't like it because I didn't know how to operate it properly for my hair . Now, I know I have to use smaller sections and hold it in that section for atleast 90s. It's a pretty good tool and I love it now. I use it to stretch mine and my daughters hair, and on my husband's locs!
