Disney Doppelgangers: Fairy Godmother & Flora

Two of disney's loveliest grandmotherly characters - Fairy Godmother from Cinderella (1950) and Flora from Sleeping Beauty (1959) are very much alike. They both have sweet, kind faces, magic wands, pointy hats, identical, soft voices and the best of intentions. They fumble and bumble around with their enchantments but in the end they help their Disney princesses to their happily ever afters.
Here is Fairy Godmother helping Cinderella make it to the ball…
And Flora helping Aurora…
Both Characters were voice by and modeled after actress Verna Felton. Here she in an episode of Burns and Allen (1953).
Felton voiced many other Disney characters including The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland (1951)…
And Aunt Sarah in Lady and the Tramp (1955).
