HIGHLY UPGRADED TRAXXAS MAXX V2

Welcome back to the channel everyone. In this video I will bash and build my old #traxxasmaxxv2 build. The Maxx started as a v1 and was upgraded once the V2 truck came out. I added all the Treal Hobby parts back then and now its time to upgrade with some new GPMRacing parts. I have got this truck pretty much where I want it. With the #M2C shock pistons as well the truck is a bash king of an #rccar.
Ill leave a link below for all the upgrades in this build and a few from the last v2 update I did. Also feel free to reach out about the #vitavon rear bulkhead. It only has one run on it and it actually looks brand new still.
Oh, I almost forgot, the #basherbodies V2 I have installed is amazing and everyone needs one. If you are a hard basher then they are for you for sure.

I got a build a lot like this but I got all vitavon for my WideMaxx, I like the WideMaxx Vitavon CV shafts with spline vs the Traxxas brand and GPM I also got Vitavon steering end link and caster and steering block. I like your orange build the GPM orange looks good but GPM red is way to dark for me. No one here really has a maxx kitted out as much as I do so I can't really compared it to other builds. But sick build cool stuff, really like the orange

Can you do motor mount TS1838-G on Maxx or slash max I see you haven’t upgraded your Maxx slash to much think it needs new motor mount lol

I’m buying the smc 9500 for my xrt ultimate. I’m debating between getting the 5800 smc for my sledge or getting the 5000 Traxxas batteries for the sledge. The Traxxas 5000 cost $69.96 and the 5800 cost $83.95. Not sure how much more usage the 800 gets me. What do you think?
Also, I can pick the Traxxas 1st gen connector. Does it come soldered already? Thank you!
I have the Traxxas iD ez peak live dual high output charger (26 amp/ 200 wats) and the Traxxas iD ez peak dual (100 wats)
I know I need the higher output charger for the 9500 batteries but can I use the 100 wat charger for the 5800 smc?

Thank you!! I’m not up to date on the Traxxas lipos, I used to race so I have just continued to use a power supply and charger by I charger. Traxxas lipos are great they just won’t swap over to other cars in your fleet because of their special connector

So I like what you did here. I might buy one of these today. Ive been building up my cen reeper and I love the truck but it doesnt drive too good no matter what I do. Its the only truck ive owned so I will never get rid of it. How would you compare the widemaxx to the reeper in terms of over all fun and bettter driving experience. Btw what esc are you using. Did you have heating issues in the stock form....one thing i like about the reeper on 6s is I never had a heating issue but I am using a max 6 esc aand the stock motor.

Hey Chris , how are you ? I just finish watch a video of yours and I notice you have the FlySky NB4 transmitter . How do you like it ? I just got one three days ago the NB-4 Pro model and I'm starting to like it better than my Spektrum transmitter. I just may retire my Spektrum transmitter. Love it and what it dose ,its pretty decent. Tell me what do you think about this transmitter?

Hey buddy!! I have the nb4! Not the pro, but I love it for all the capabilities and features it offers. One thing I really like about the radio is the body is aluminum. It's small compact and lightweight. I still use my futaba for racing but this nb4 gets more use than all my other radios for sure. Cheap too
