    While many are critical of the blood expert, he is extremely knowledgeable. Something awful happened in that garage and it happened to Jennifer by Fotis. Did Fotis kill himself for no reason? Michelle Troconis knows what happened to Jennifer. Fotis didn't keep that a secret. Troconis was in the vehicle when Fotis was dropping bloody clean up items in several (maybe 30 or so) trash receptables, all on video, on the day of Jennifer's disappearance and I believe also the next day. If anyone thinks Triconis was oblivious as to what he was doing, well, that's just plain crazy.

    • @scientistatwork4667
      @scientistatwork4667 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +23

      Her/Triconis' DNA is on some of the trash bags being dumped and a fingerprint on one I think. This indicates a more active role than just a passenger along for the ride.

      I didn't know that. Is there more information about the case somewhere besides the trial? So far, the majority of what I know has come from the nanny's testimony. I'm not from the eastern part of the country, and I wondered if there was a lot of reporting about this case locally, or if I just missed it entirely.

      This is such a heart-breaking case. To think that 5 children are without either parent now is horrible.
      On a side note, this has to be one of the most thorough trials I've ever seen. The breakdown of evidence is incredible (pictures, videos, layouts/grids, lab work, etc). There was definitely a lot of time and energy put into this case & trial.

      Discussed on L&C, the only issue is the way he discusses every thought when either side objects. It lays out everything, nothing left to imagination. Which makes Appeals much easier to achieve. But he believes it makes the case for No Appeal to be had. In my opinion, I think its problematic.

    It always amazes me, from watching so many trials, how so many people, when testifying, cut off the attorneys when they’re trying to ask a question.
    Lt. Ken Ventresca is a perfect example of it and I feel so sorry for not only the attorney asking the questions, but especially the court reporter trying to type the testimony. This detective was one of the worst at speaking over the attorney. He literally does it on each and every question and as much control and attention to detail this Judge has over his courtroom, I was surprised he didn’t reprimand the detective to wait until the attorney stopped speaking before he started speaking in order to get a clear record of what was being said.
    It’s so rude when people cut people off and I don’t understand how some people have NO self awareness that they have a problem with doing it….especially as much as this detective does it!

Especially when a majority of them are overruled , it makes it look like the defense is trying very hard not to let evidence in…bringing more attention to what they are constantly objecting to. Also the jury not liking an attorney is not a good thing. In a perfect world that would not matter, but this is not a perfect world.

    Has anyone else noticed that the defense attorney doesn’t exactly refute evidence or make alternate theories but rather with every witness, points out exactly how much they don’t know? I realize it may be part of the job to do so with every witness? Don’t they typically do that with perhaps a particular witness, that they might look to impeach? His “let’s assume” theories are ridiculous. Can’t wait for his “theory” of what they believe happened. My goodness, I wonder if that woman paid a lot of money for her attorney. He’s extremely egotistical and frankly, his arguments so far, make his seem fairly unintelligent. IMO at least.

    I understand that the prosecution has to prove that Jennifer Dulos was murdered before trying to show the conspiracy to commit murder, however the lack of pace at this part and the fact that Troconis can’t be placed at the house or the car doesn’t help the prosecution.
    More than a week of trial and all they have on Troconis is that she had an affair with Dulos… That’s not proof of murder…

    • @Wildones-yy9dq

      You answered yourself, it s ONLY a week into the trial and they have to cover an entire murder trial that SHOULD have taken place for Fotis. It’s really not that hard to understand. They’ll be spending sooooo much time on her involvement soon. Just be patient.

    This blood spatter "expert" is awfully nervous for someone with teaching experience. That could indicate a lack of trial experience, or, alternatively, could imply that he doesn't have a deep understanding of blood spatter analysis. In my experience, those that are unable to explain something, don't really understand the subject on which they opine. For example, We see this in ill prepared teachers.

      I think it is the translator too. If I were a juror I would need headphones so I didn't hear her. It would be as annoying as when you call someone and hear yourself repeating but obviously in another language. Most people cant handle that echo I know I can't. She should have to use the things stenographers use now. I think she may be standing up there near them because the other detective said something about the person speaking in his ear

      @@motomaidenDoes she not speak English? I didn't realize she wasn't an American, or not one who didn't speak English. My grandfather was Greek. He came to United States when he was 18 years old and didn't speak a word of English. He lived to 101, and spoke perfect English. He'd had decades to learn it, of course, but he was a wonderful man. Fotis sounds like a horrible, selfish person.
