    So many attacking Melissa’s mom. People deal with grief and trauma differently. She lost her daughter and grandson. All she has are her memories. Seems that she wants everyone to know how special her baby was. Praying comfort and strength.

      Vasectomy is more controlled then people would think. I am not sure if state controlled or not. I got one I had to have my sign papers of consent. I had many friends try before marriage they were turned away. Maybe its the doctors refusal. It definitely wasn't I want this and go get it done.

      You've never received any kind of fire training at all? So many classes, trainings, etc will tell you to drag out an unconscious person to minimize any injury they may have. It's just safer for all parties involved. Imagine trying to exit a burning, snoke filled home carrying a person over your shoulder. Your straining, your field of vision is now obscured, the foundation may not be steady, etc.

      It will be overturned in appeal. They didn’t have proper evidence to convict and just did well at convincing the jury of the story. If he is guilty, they did a terrible job at securing that conviction

      everybody has a different reaction to shock. they're not thinking clearly at that point, which is normal. friends of mine lost their kid and they played board games that night. not in a fun way. in a shocked and traumatized silent way. don't be so quick in your judgement here. people do weird stuff when overwhelming things happen to them. it is self preservation.

    Nowadays the most dangerous time for a woman is during a pregnancy. There are so many men that do not want to take responsibility. My sons father was the same caliber. I may not think back how terrible he treated me on purpose to lose my baby. Pure narcissist.

    I think it’s so strange that they went ahead with Thanksgiving. If I lost a child, there’s nowhere I’d be celebrating any holiday the next day.

      @ OK put yourself in this position… You tragically lose a child that is completely unexpected and soul crushing. Who would even be hungry enough to cook a Thanksgiving dinner? I’d be so upset. I wouldn’t even be able to get out of bed for over a week. And sending an eye roll right back at ya.

      The mother mentioned how similar she and her daughter were. That shows in the daughter's career choice. An EMT and I believe they said she was a firefighter, also. Strong stock. ❤

    This happens all the time. When the other person do not want you or the baby. It always comes out as a tragedy. She died and her new born baby. She kept wanting the father in the baby's life. She wasn't a smart person.

    A smart person will immediately ask for an attorney. I’ve seen innocent people get pegged for a murder. Investigators have a few different routes to get to the truth & if a person understands manipulation then they’ll pick up on all of their tactics.

    What a heartless person that would murder their own baby along with it's mother. Why would any woman want a man like that in her life? But it's a cautionary tale about getting pregnant when not married. Men want the free sx, but not a baby they have to pay for, for the next 25 years. I hope her mother finds peace. This was horrendous to live through.

    Why did these two cops think they could get a confession from this fully grown, self-contained man literally by boxing him into a corner and barraging him with words, so much so that the perp wouldn’t have been able to get a word in edge-wise, even if he did feel compelled to confess.
    Their ham-fisted interviewing should be compulsory police training on how not to interrogate effectively.
