Great photos and video as always mate. Big agree on the photography gets you to go outside thing. Been working from home and honestly the photo walks are what has strongly helped keep me sane. Only recently started my development at home (just B&W) but it has been a lot of fun thus far!
Yet another super enjoyable video!. Loved the music too, so cool. I love seeing LA in the distance, even though it makes me want to return to California even more than ever (I’m from England but I’m Californian at heart!). Keep up the great work Caleb, I really appreciate it 🙂
I think if I were going to carry something that heavy I'd want at least a 4x5 negative from it. For everything lighter there's my ancient Rolleiflex New Standard. ;) Nice pics. Happy to watch you develop the negatives... and the skyline! Do you ever dog sit Baxter? Just askin'
Fun fact about those peacocks cause I’m around that area, it’s stupid illegal to touch but so if they’re on your car or in your way keep in mind that it’s there car now and your in it way
nice shots, after being relegated to mostly online University, I have found the same to be true - ultimately we're all staying indoors quite a lot more, and it has both it's perks and downsides
Finally got myself a medium format film camera. Pentax 645 is on the way! Also, it's cool seeing around your old place now that you're moving. Representing KC pretty often here. Boulevard and now The Wild Way Coffee! Anywayyyys, loved the video like always. Still can't wait for the RT66 video. okay bye now
A. Hells yes to Medium Format congrats!!!! B. Repping KC woot woot! That’s dope!!!! Do you live there now? I mean there is no Better beer and coffee but you know … I’m biased haha C. Hells yeah that video will be epic… yet to see pics from it. Organizing take so long
@@BadFlashes I live in Joplin just south of there a couple hours but work alot of weekends up there doing weddings and have family up there as well. Can't wait to shoot my first few rolls through the 645 for sure! Have a good weekend Caleb!
The Mamiya RZ 67 Pro ii is a big and heavy tank that ruins your cervical spine by long use. Especially without viewfinder when you permanent have to look down in the waist-level finder. No fun!
I usually go with the flow on these "watch me walk around and shoot a bunch of nothing photos, cause I need to post something" videos on this channel because Of the personal style of our guy. But today, the idea of wandering around shooting a studio MF camera free-hand strikes me as just stupid, so take my down thumb.
@@ratinthehat_ I don't criticize his enjoyment. I criticize his use of an in-door studio camera designed to be used on a tripod as a casual shooting, walk around camera, where all you get is negative features. I do think "enjoyment" is a hard term to apply to tucking around an RZ, much like having a hippo for a pet instead of a dog. As a number of YT RB/RZ junkies have had to realize the hard way, These Mamiyas were not built for this usage and will pack it in earlier than they expected. As for repairs, no parts - no tears.

Damn! Every day really is a nice day in LA. Your music was hype also.
Well we do get rain like 3 days a year 🤣😆
Glad you enjoyed the vibe 🤩
I liked this video man. Cause it was more vloggy. Which I think suits you well because you always have things to say strait from the dome. 💯
Haha thanks yo! 🥰 To tell you the truth, they are easier to edit tooo haha

I can’t be the only one who was bopin to this beat

My gf loves the west side. I should shoot it more :)
Omg your Kodak girl is in the famous wicker chair! Al Green probably sat in that same one. “Wicker chair album covers” in the google for more info.

Did you bleach bypass this? Kinda got the Metropolis look, green/yellow cast and desaturated
Nope. But the chemicals were on there last leg so I do think so of that influenced the colors a bit.

Mamamiya Mafia
Oh yeah lol I dig that
Bro add the lens you used with it to the description
Do you know if that viewfinder fits on the RB67? Can you list that too?
It was the 110mm
And I’m not sure actually
what is the music at 3:14??
I use Epidemic sound for my sound #sponsorme 😂
what mm is that lens?
110mm
Trying to decide between this and a pentax 67, anyone have experience with both?
Well it depends on what type of shooting and subject matter you like shooting???
Studio OR more walking around-ish ?
@@BadFlashes walk aroundish for sure
Most likely a Pentax 67. It’s a bit lighting. (Only a bit haha) but more Suited for that type of work
@@BadFlashes Just got my first roll back after buying it, and I am in love. Thanks for the help dad
