The Phoenix fading out makes no sense. Phoenix never truly dies, that's its purpose.
To die and Resurrect stronger. It’s all over the place now. Why didn’t they Use the 5 to bring back the Phoenix. Only for Jean to have it die and disappear for 3 years.

What I love about this issue is that it further establishes Jean as phoenix! They are not two separate entities, “jeans fire” hope being able to mimic Phoenix fire because it’s ultimately Jean mutation!
That 3 super villains in a room comment by Sinister is a great reminder of who is really on the Quiet Council and pretty funny.
Its going to pop off in the last issues of Fall of the House & Rise of the Powers. I’m sure the battle will culminate with Phoenix vs the Dominions in the last two issues of X-MEN Forever! I’m so excited!
I wish we had more stories involving Proteus. He’s an OP mutant who’s been kept out of the spotlight long enough.
Very curious about him in this era, his mother and his foster sister.
Because he is UNSTABLE and is a real menace everytime he is around, and needs to constantly possess bodies and then used them up and find the next because of his unstable body matter

Sooo,Xavier was planning this up eh . I won't be suprised if prisoner X is him since he gave humanity a bit of a taste of that sweet extinction flavour 😅 and they aren't very happy about it .I was kinda suprised at first thinking how hard they assasinated his character with him joining Orchis and him having that thelepatic conversation with Scott . Writers jebated us good on that one 😅 though when you put a thought later on you kinda see that he was up to something when he took out Rachel to resurrect the phoenix .

I just figured it out, Charles is pretending to make a deal with Nimrod as a diversion to keep Nimrod off balanced long enough for the Pheonix to come in and stop Nimrod from bringing the Dominion online!
The logic used to resurrect Sinister is flawed...he is NOT a mutant in its truest sense. Dude shouldn't even have been on Krakoa to begin with...
I believe the mutate Sinister was killed by one of his several clones, the one that killed him being a clone that had the X-gene.
The “Sinister” here is indeed a mutant.
Anyone wanna explain why the mutants of Krakoa are being left in the white hot room (other than than Marvel trying to shut down the Krakoan age)? If Mother Righteous can bring the mutants to the White Hot Room (and years ago we saw the S.W.O.R.D. team can access the White Hot Room as well to get mysterium), then why can they figure out a way to establish a gate to bring everyone back, especially once the Phoenix is resurrected? Doesnt make sense.
Damn, so Xavier is basically just stalling until the Phoenix can come back and decimate the Dominion but I'm confused as to how they're making the Phoenix force as something other than immortal when it's the sum of all life in the universe. Also, Will Phoenix only destroy the Dominion and not the AI and Nimrod for good? The Five are probably going to have to be taken off the board because otherwise all mutants are immortal. I have so many questions but this was a great issue. 👍
As much as i love the Xmen, and how i appreciate your reviews, the writers are making this story ao confusong and messy. I am having a really hard time trying to follow what is going on. Its like its really rushed , not well thought out, and just all over the place. Please keep up the good work, thank you for your explanations, and until the next time, Make Mine Marvel!

Yes, they did. And in a passing remark, it was revealed that he too, will lose to a Dominion as in the Sins of Sinister timeline, he went to a higher plane of existence only to "devoured" by said Dominion
Good review. I'm in my Fall of Krakoa withdrawal as I haven't had time to pick up my copy and read this issue. I watched Blerb's review and Breakdown, which I like Breakdown's review much better. The trash of Xavier gets to be too heavy sometimes. I long suspected that Xavier's motive, though worried by Magneto as being bad, might be sometimes wrongly interpreted. I'm glad Destiny, Dead Mutant's, Rachel had redirected Xavier's plans to be reconsidered that a win-win for mutants was possible. Sometimes, readers forget how many times Xavier was willing to bear the brunt of injury/death for the sake of mutant kind in the past. We also see that he loves his mutants that he has 'hope' that there is a future for them, which we sometimes wonder how his students who respected, loved, fought with, and endangered always forget that he has sacraficed himself in the past many times for them. Some of their best & worst moments reflect their influence on him as well as themselves on their growth together. In the core of X-men, who worked closely with Charles, it's a reciprocating molding, it bonded into each of them. It's rather surprising that for all that Xavier and Sinister have been involved, he still sees value in him to want him resurrected. I hope the ending will result the bulk of mutants existing but temporarily detached for a later series bringing them back. There is too many stories of so many characters that it would blow the budget of most fans to want all back at the same time. Mahalo.
It really shouldn’t be like this for the Phoenix to resurrect. Like it should be able to just resurrect itself. However I do appreciate them making an attempt to link Rachel, Hope, and Jean in the story. Since they’re the three main hosts of the Phoenix (obviously Jean is the prime host) then it should be that as long as one of them is alive the Phoenix can just easily come back to that reality and they can resurrect each other.
tbf this is the first time someone has actually directly attacked the Phoenix in its own realm and actually "spilled its blood". Most of the time its like forced to appear and then fragmented with a laser or something.
@@mostcreative3680 except it didn’t make any sense that after the Jean Grey solo series she was still “dead” and then that weird zombie version of her on a leash is what Mother Righteous tried to sacrifice by killing.
And Xmen must have a Glock sponsor because forge, able, bishop got exclusive artillery but everybody catching BODIES with the glockdookies
I hope it’s explained why the Phoenix was “ending” and the white hot room was basically turning into the upside down - why the rest of existence wasn’t affected, comics really are becoming too convoluted for their own good.

Xavier is making the ultimate play in this game with the Dominion and ORCHIS. Xavier might be a jerk, but he is also Right. The White Hot Room is basically the "closet" that they will shove Krakoa and its residents into. Its comic book limbo for mutants they don't need at the moment. That being said, i would prefer to see comic book title based on Arakko and the White Hot Room after all this is over. I'm tired of seeing mutants without a true home/nation/country being persecuted on earth - we have already had well over 50 years of that same story regurgitated over and over again.
I feel the same away but at this point I’d advise you to give up on that since either Marvel or some old and new writers will say “hey let’s go back to old school X Men with the mansion, brother of mutants, Trask and basic sentinels and genocides of mutants and their nations”. Why simple new audiences experience the storytelling and cause they can.
Then give up. They are going back to basics and without Krakoa. Krakoa will disappear after all this is said and done
And no, there is NO book or comic featuring Arakko or the WHR, the new era will move away from all of that

I love XMen Comics. But this shit is all over the place. They need a pivot Asap. If all Humans are to die. Doesn’t that kill off Avengers, FF, Spider-Man, etc. They don’t think shit out they just write! Hickman leaving screwed the X-men. He did FF so much Justice. They should’ve paid him whatever to have continuity.
Wolverine stealth kills about to reach SSS RANK... No detection to sentinels or Ai and hes human now basically ... How he carries adamantium around and takes its off no problem its COMICS
I hope we can have a teamup of jean,Rachel and Hope going forward.

There will be a book in December which will have x men forever 1-4 and will be called immortal x men vol 5, but they also need an omnibus for this event because is so confusing the order they’re launching

they are being stuck so that resurrection is off the table, for now. hope is too big and important to stay there so probably eventually they'll be brought back.

I can explain this, actually. Or atleast tried to as their has been many Retcons to the Phoenix. However, I think this was also explained in JD when Jean was dying once again.

When the Marvel vs was started, the PF was born from the light that came after.(along with Darkenss, which is getting or should be explained in Storms story ark with the Shadow king. ComicBreakdown did a video talking about it)
There's only 1 PF across all universes ad of the latest changes.
However, all life is comprised of remnants of the PF. Also was touched on when Jean was dying and had flashbacks on where u she went wrong and found out that everything she went through was because it needed to happen. (Again, Comicbreakdown did a great job recapping this as well, and there's a video for this as well)
We learned more of the Phand how it's essentially grants and creates life. The reason why Mother Righteous traveled to the White Hot Room. It's essentially a Hub for the Phoenix Force.
I can't remember if it's this series or JD where it's explained that there's a crystal that's essentially a nexus point for all the Phoenix force users across universes.
Long story short, there's 1 PF and each universe has remnants of it.
U can learn more about it by watching Comic breakdown as much as u can. E actually went over all the lines that explained this I am simply recapping what happened in some of his videos dating back to JD
ALSO THIS IS IMPORTANT:
When it comes down to what is correct and what's not correct, we should go by the recent MAJOR storyline or flagship story they are pushing as that will have the most up-to-date standards and information for what Marvel wants to keep pushing. For ex: the Shadow King, which we saw in Storm series he or rather the forces of which he represents was altered and now hes much different than what we originally believed(can I even say he or is it they)
So basically, there may have been mutiple, but it's whatever Marvel wants the writers to push in which ever series they think it's relevant an the time

No, they won't. After all this is done, Jean and Scott will go their separate ways! Cyclops in the main X-men book by Jed Mckay, while Jean will be in her own solo book by Stephanie Philips

Phoenix can beat the Enigmas yet the "ALL POWERFUL" Enigmas are stated to be more powerful than the one above all themselves...How is it working, is phoenix the kryptonite to Enigmas ?? As far as i saw it Enigmas are praise for their powerful ability but didint do anything on a "cosmic level" the mutants shouldnt be dealing with this, the Entire Universe should like Avengers and Entities and such like Eternity and at least TLT

Encode a Phoenix blueprint into Krakoa from Prodigy’s exposure to the M’Kraan crystal so that they can recreate the Phoenix after killing it. Huh?? I read this issue. I heard this video. dead x-men and x-men forever should have been combined into one and made the "fall of the house of X" book whilst what's been going in the current book should have just been put into duggan's x-men book since it seems so inconsequential or at least not that important to the other event books.
