I kept spraying Guidance on in the shop for like 3 months trying to understand it. I also got a whiff of the B.O. accord (whatever that is). One day I sprayed it on and it's like a light bulb went on and I suddenly loved it. I'm not saying that everyone would have that reaction! I think the difference was that I didn't spray it so close to my face and allowed the sillage to waft up, which I think is how other people detect it. I have a lot of fragrances I love that, to be honest, are not the best smelled up close. 😄

Yesssss so happy you like Red Keela Split!!! I just got a full bottle after trying a small decant. I don’t get much banana either which is great, not a fan of the banana note. I do get a lot of creamy pistachio with some hints of citrusy note(must be the Italian lemon) and it’s so delicious! 😊 Very well balanced!
I'm with you on Guidance.. I've compared the OG and 46 on my channel twice and edited it out both times 🙈 I said it smells like banana peels in the garbage can, when they start rotting a bit. I tried to convince myself I liked it, back when I first got my sample but it has progressively gotten worse every time I've tried it. My mom and sister both really liked it, but it's a no for me 😅
Team guidance and 46 for everrrrrr I adore them both, I can’t forget when I tested it how the scent stayed on my test strip for over a month at my vanity and how every single night I asked myself what is that where it came that gorgeous smell 😍 I can’t resist 46 but I snatched for over 55% off and can’t be more happier, both of them will be always in my collection
Hahaha Deep n Desire Yacht.. I said it smelled like a blueberry perfume for kids.. 😅😅 Hahah the black pepper, I don't like it either and never put it on my food but there's one recipe, with a lemon cream sauce and I use a TON of black pepper in that! 😅😅

Got a sample of Jusbox 54 and knew immediately it was full bottle worthy. Got my full bottle and it is glorious! For me…truly an addictive scent. Sirens and Sailors is next…sample is divine. Will be purchasing for my birthday next month.
I also ordered a decant of Cherry N Heaven from Greata. I got a notification it was in my mailbox last Friday before I was heading out, so I didn't put any perfume on. I sprayed it on in the car and it was an instant love. The cashier at Marshall's (younger women in her early 20's) was like "Oh my god you smell so good!" I don't usually get comments so it was nice. ❤🍒
I get baby lotion the one in the purple bottle from guidance , nothing like anyone else has mentioned . My daughter came round and asked why I smelt like a baby at bedtime 😊
LOL...I have food/perfume rules with exceptions too! Cirque du Sol was ok to me, but not full bottle worthy. La Tarte Tatin was the worst perfume I smelled last year. I didn't try the OG Guidance, but the hype for Guidance 46 got me. I liked the opening, but about 20 minutes later, all I got was really strong BO. Ugh. I've never liked anything from Amouage, and this was no exception. Never again. You and I have similar tastes, so I can't wait to get my nose on Cherry N Heaven. Love your channel!
Hi Jackie! EBK Deep n Desire Yaght didn’t work for me either. It was pleasant enough, but in the end, it just didn’t make me want to wear it. I don’t get blueberry muffin at all either btw. I really want to try the new cherry in heaven though. I was super excited for Jusbox’s and Sebastian’s 54, but alas, it was too masculine on me. Nice but not for me. Cirque su solely was ok, not full bottle worthy for me, but quite nice nonetheless.

Tried Guidance 46. It was okay. I can appreciate the fragrance, it is beautiful, but not on me. It smelled…. sharp. I expected it to be smoother. I am getting a full bottle of Dries Van Notten Santal Greenery and Initio Musk Therapy.
I love your sweater dress! I just bought the exact same one! It's so cozy! I'm so glad you like Red Keela Split. I blind bought it and I love it. I also blind bought Cherry N Heaven. Probably one of my favorite perfumes now. EBK is my favorite house. I have Deep N Desire Yacht. I love it, but it does have a wonderful, zingy tart opening that might be challenging to some. I also have Ruby N Vanilla Intense. That one is a powerhouse and one of the best vanillas I own. My next purchase will be Aquamarine N Powder from EBK. It is so different from what I like, (Gourmands), but I absolutely love it. I got so many compliments when I wore my sample of it to dinner. Thank you for all of the honest and useful information you provide. Perfume is pricey and you really want an honest opinion before you blind buy it. I also love Greta Beth. She's another honest reviewer whom I really respect and trust.
Sampled Red Keela Split and there's something in that fragrance that doesn't work on me and absolute No ... Cirque is nice , does have kind of addictive quality , not sure if it will become a fb 😂... I might be one of the only ppl that stands in the middle on Guidance , not a love but not a hate but I can absolutely see both sides , I get the aspects that ppl love and the aspects that cause the hate , personally think it's the frankincense .... after wearing Guidance and the 46 after hours of wear it becomes like ... enough , you gotta go 😂

The original guidance smells very weird in the drydown, yes. I cannot even say what it is. But for me this is a general problem with a lot of Amouage fragrances. The 46 version was a little better, however absolutely not my scent. Terrible synthetic smelling stuff😅

I get the grapefruit peel and camelia strongest , my nose doesn't perceive blueberries , think I would love this on a man 😊 Just added Bodacious in the fall , my most dominant Cherry and addictive , speaks to my soul lol Cherry n Heaven sounds incredible but would it be redundant??
im also apart of the guidance hater club😖 want to love it, the bottle is beautiful and im a fan of strong fragrance. i did not get a body odor note but to me it just smelled too mature. i own a lot of niche fragrance but amouage is a house i struggle with. there was something very smooth and unique about it that i enjoyed but the powdery floral notes were over powering to me
I tried the original Guidance, and somehow, I ended up in Team 3. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it-it was an okay scent for me. I don’t get why everyone is raving about this perfume, but I also didn’t get the body odor smell either. 😂
Nota Sugar is sooooo addictive to me 💝💝💝❣ it got a fair bit of hate but this is a sweet pineapple delicious scent to my nose, works with my skin chemistry 😊🙏 almost blind bought Nota Vanilla bc of my love for NS and NL but the notes gave me pause , I now really want to try NV to see it I have a similar experience to yours
I did not like EBK "Deep in Desire Yacht" either. The top note of Pomelo was way way way overpowering and a beast through out the day. I gave it to my brother and he loves it 🤷♂ With Amouage it has been more misses than hits. Just recently decluttered Love Delight because of the overpowering Jasmine note. On my Cirque de Soleil was a light grourmande, maybe not full bottle worthy. Will you be doing a review of the new Parfum de Marly Valaya Exclusif?
I am team Guidance. I like the original and also the 46. I get lots of compliments with it as well but never became my signature scent. I love Tilia from Marc Antoine Barrois, this is easily one of my signature scents, along with Epic woman from Amouage. Are you familiar with any of there? These are not gourmand scents, but you also like other scent families, right? big hug Jax and Happy new 2025.
I guess I'm a real unicorn in the world of Guidance - I've sampled it and my feelings about it are totally neutral. I do think it's nice and, f it were cheaper, I might think about owning it. Then again, I. might not. I think there are other fragrances I'd rather wear and, at Amouage prices, I'll just keep wearing the other fragrances.
I think you don’t like hazelnut note on yourself. EBK- blue one has the same kind of hazelnut accent as in Guidance- it’s based on Amberwood materials. These kind of chemicals are overdone also in Side effect Initio, there is no hazelnut accord, but I guess some noses are making these from the same stuff. I also hate this kind of hazelnut accord- can’t even stand the opening of new Devotion Intense DG, love the EDP, hate the Intense I think there are of course different ways to approach hazelnuts in perfumery, some are probably more gentle than the others
I wish Cirque wasn't so hyped. It's stomach churning. As is anything to do with Guidance, which is one of the worst smells I've ever encountered. However, EBK Cherry N Heaven is BEYOND. I don't know how I'll cope with just one bottle.
😂 i felt the same about Nota Vanilla. Total Vanilla and Gourmand lover here but when I sampled this I was like WTH is going on here, I did not smell Vanilla or Gourmand. I don't like to bad mouth a perfume but this one was weird.
Guidance and 46 both are absolutely no's for me. I dont get bo but something just simply makes me sick when i smell it. Ive never experienced such a reaction to any other fragrance.
I am definitely not team guidance. I am like you and cannot stand it. I live in Dubai and unfortunately it’s all I can smell everywhere I go, and the people I smell it on unfortunately overspray it which gives me a physical reaction 😆
Yes the original Guidance smells God awful on me and I can get down with some challenging notes sometimes that other people may think smells funky. But nope Guidance is BEAST-MODE body odor on me.
Zero body odor from either Guidance. Respectfully disagree with you re 54. I don’t find it masculine - it’s unisex and so addictive. A clean chocolate patchouli with rum and pina colada and a vanilla base it has the most amazing sillage. People always compliment me on it and I’m all girlie. I didn’t like it but on the 4th try I was HOOKED! Definitely need to try in skin and not a test strip.

I'm team Guidance! Such a stunning perfume especially in the cold where it shines the best in my opinion 😊 I don't get BO from it at all. But some people have also mentioned that they get private lady parts from it 🫣😂 Made me laugh so hard when I read that!
Oh my gosh!!! I really really didn’t like Nota Vanilla!!! Seriously, dirty is a great description but it literally made me sick. I showered immediately!! May be the worst fragrance I’ve tried in a long long time! I am not team Guidance. Not even going to try 46. I liked Cirque but something with a buttered popcorn note makes me sick. I blind bought cirque the day it released and while I liked the scent performance was incredibly lacking in both projection and longevity decluttered it within a month Love Nota sugar .. have a full bottle Nota loca was ok have a decant won’t make it to FB And blind bought Nota vanilla and everything you said was true .. that scent was vile. Couldn’t scrub it fast enough .. I resold it but even gave the person who bought it a warning I want to try red keela but I’m still traumatized by the other one (pannaco) sounds like I need to try it . I like la tart tatin but it does pull maple syrup .. when I wear it people think I smell like waffles … EBK is a house that doesn’t work for me either .. I wanted yacht to work but nope and I hear the cherry takes on a very dark masculine profile on the dry down but the opening is fantastic so I’m nervous about that one
When I first got Guidance, I didn't understand all the comments about how complicated and polarizing it was because it was a pretty simple yet beautiful, extra creamy sandalwood, like I can 'feel' the silkiest sandalwood, fragrance to me. I still feel the same but am actually afraid to wear it out, thinking what it may smell like to others, so it sadly doesn't get the wear it deserves. Greta turned me on to a fb of Cherry N Heaven as well, bought through her online shop. She forgot to mention what a beast it is, though, and I apparently chocked a few people out with my usual heavy-handed application🥹😅( Love u Greta!!) I suppose I need Cirque De Soleil, now, due to all the positive reviews!!!🩷💜💙
Im not crazy about guidance. Its okay, its nice. But I everytime I wear her, I get compliments from strangers 😱🫣 I dont even like her that much, but she is a compliment magnet. Strangers come up to me to tell me I smell amazing… My co workers and friends go crazy for valaya, but Never strangers.

I might be one of the only ppl that stands in the middle on Guidance , not a love but not a hate but I can absolutely see both sides , I get the aspects that ppl love and the aspects that cause the hate , personally think it's the frankincense .... after wearing Guidance and the 46 after hours of wear it becomes like ... enough , you gotta go 😂

The original guidance smells very weird in the drydown, yes. I cannot even say what it is. But for me this is a general problem with a lot of Amouage fragrances. The 46 version was a little better, however absolutely not my scent. Terrible synthetic smelling stuff😅

I get the grapefruit peel and camelia strongest , my nose doesn't perceive blueberries , think I would love this on a man 😊 Just added Bodacious in the fall , my most dominant Cherry and addictive , speaks to my soul lol Cherry n Heaven sounds incredible but would it be redundant??

im also apart of the guidance hater club😖 want to love it, the bottle is beautiful and im a fan of strong fragrance. i did not get a body odor note but to me it just smelled too mature. i own a lot of niche fragrance but amouage is a house i struggle with. there was something very smooth and unique about it that i enjoyed but the powdery floral notes were over powering to me
Amouage is a challenging house for me too. Some I love but some I hate.

I tried the original Guidance, and somehow, I ended up in Team 3. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it-it was an okay scent for me. I don’t get why everyone is raving about this perfume, but I also didn’t get the body odor smell either. 😂
Nota Sugar is sooooo addictive to me 💝💝💝❣ it got a fair bit of hate but this is a sweet pineapple delicious scent to my nose, works with my skin chemistry 😊🙏 almost blind bought Nota Vanilla bc of my love for NS and NL but the notes gave me pause , I now really want to try NV to see it I have a similar experience to yours

I did not like EBK "Deep in Desire Yacht" either. The top note of Pomelo was way way way overpowering and a beast through out the day. I gave it to my brother and he loves it 🤷♂ With Amouage it has been more misses than hits. Just recently decluttered Love Delight because of the overpowering Jasmine note. On my Cirque de Soleil was a light grourmande, maybe not full bottle worthy. Will you be doing a review of the new Parfum de Marly Valaya Exclusif?

I am team Guidance. I like the original and also the 46. I get lots of compliments with it as well but never became my signature scent.
I love Tilia from Marc Antoine Barrois, this is easily one of my signature scents, along with Epic woman from Amouage. Are you familiar with any of there? These are not gourmand scents, but you also like other scent families, right? big hug Jax and Happy new 2025.
I do enjoy other scent profiles but during cold weather I really crave gourmands a lot. Definitely my favorite scent profile.
I guess I'm a real unicorn in the world of Guidance - I've sampled it and my feelings about it are totally neutral. I do think it's nice and, f it were cheaper, I might think about owning it. Then again, I. might not. I think there are other fragrances I'd rather wear and, at Amouage prices, I'll just keep wearing the other fragrances.
I think you don’t like hazelnut note on yourself. EBK- blue one has the same kind of hazelnut accent as in Guidance- it’s based on Amberwood materials. These kind of chemicals are overdone also in Side effect Initio, there is no hazelnut accord, but I guess some noses are making these from the same stuff.
I also hate this kind of hazelnut accord- can’t even stand the opening of new Devotion Intense DG, love the EDP, hate the Intense
I think there are of course different ways to approach hazelnuts in perfumery, some are probably more gentle than the others
I wish Cirque wasn't so hyped. It's stomach churning. As is anything to do with Guidance, which is one of the worst smells I've ever encountered. However, EBK Cherry N Heaven is BEYOND. I don't know how I'll cope with just one bottle.

😂 i felt the same about Nota Vanilla. Total Vanilla and Gourmand lover here but when I sampled this I was like WTH is going on here, I did not smell Vanilla or Gourmand. I don't like to bad mouth a perfume but this one was weird.

Love the Cirque du Soleil perfume. Hate Guidance with a fiery passion. Both the original and 46. I got body odor as well. It was horrendous. 🤢🤮

Guidance and 46 both are absolutely no's for me. I dont get bo but something just simply makes me sick when i smell it. Ive never experienced such a reaction to any other fragrance.

Yes the original Guidance smells God awful on me and I can get down with some challenging notes sometimes that other people may think smells funky. But nope Guidance is BEAST-MODE body odor on me.

Zero body odor from either Guidance. Respectfully disagree with you re 54. I don’t find it masculine - it’s unisex and so addictive. A clean chocolate patchouli with rum and pina colada and a vanilla base it has the most amazing sillage. People always compliment me on it and I’m all girlie. I didn’t like it but on the 4th try I was HOOKED! Definitely need to try in skin and not a test strip.
All of the fragrances I tried in this video were tested on skin. Happy to hear that your experience with 54 worked out for you and that it’s not masculine on your skin. Go and enjoy!

Amouage guidance is definitely a body odor sent to me. I could not stand it and both of them the original and 46 to me are 98% similar.

I'm team Guidance! Such a stunning perfume especially in the cold where it shines the best in my opinion 😊 I don't get BO from it at all. But some people have also mentioned that they get private lady parts from it 🫣😂 Made me laugh so hard when I read that!

Oh my gosh!!! I really really didn’t like Nota Vanilla!!! Seriously, dirty is a great description but it literally made me sick. I showered immediately!! May be the worst fragrance I’ve tried in a long long time! I am not team Guidance. Not even going to try 46. I liked Cirque but something with a buttered popcorn note makes me sick. I love buttered popcorn, just not on my skin! Keep sniffing!😊
Popcorn in perfume is definitely not for everyone. I totally get that. Nota vanilla was so bad, I actually recoiled. So disappointed!
I blind bought cirque the day it released and while I liked the scent performance was incredibly lacking in both projection and longevity decluttered it within a month

I want to try red keela but I’m still traumatized by the other one (pannaco) sounds like I need to try it . I like la tart tatin but it does pull maple syrup .. when I wear it people think I smell like waffles … EBK is a house that doesn’t work for me either .. I wanted yacht to work but nope and I hear the cherry takes on a very dark masculine profile on the dry down but the opening is fantastic so I’m nervous about that one
I did not get a dark masculine dry down with CNH. But I don’t have a full bottle just samples. But so far not my experience personally.

When I first got Guidance, I didn't understand all the comments about how complicated and polarizing it was because it was a pretty simple yet beautiful, extra creamy sandalwood, like I can 'feel' the silkiest sandalwood, fragrance to me. I still feel the same but am actually afraid to wear it out, thinking what it may smell like to others, so it sadly doesn't get the wear it deserves. Greta turned me on to a fb of Cherry N Heaven as well, bought through her online shop. She forgot to mention what a beast it is, though, and I apparently chocked a few people out with my usual heavy-handed application🥹😅( Love u Greta!!) I suppose I need Cirque De Soleil, now, due to all the positive reviews!!!🩷💜💙

I have learned that I am not a gourmand lover in general but I do love the Cirque du Soleil l’eau de parfum.
Theodoros Kalotinis Creme Brûlée and Navitus Peach Aurum are also favorites.
