My 2004 boxster has a little over 100k. Been driving great. Had to get a new clutch, slave cylinder, and radiator fan in the last month though. Been concerned about long distance trips but besides those issues its been a great car. Thinking of even painting her and getting a new convertible top cover to make it look brand new. Its good to hear at 200k yours is still driving well. Have you noticed a decrease in acceleration though on the first couple of gears? Mine doesn't have that same oomph it used to have
+Augusto Ortiz gutted, even worse knowing i could have avoided it. i guess the problem is that £1000 sounds like a lot to replace the ims on a car worth 7-8k. When you lose 7-8k it doesn't....
+manglerman 2015 its true but is is a lot of work to replace it. I guess its better to get a more modern boxster, i wish i would have gotten a newer one every day
A true Porsche

I thought "cross drilled" was for heat dissipation. I didn't think it had anything to do with rain.

Ssshhhh don't mention the IMS bearing problem
My boxster has 80k miles and is still running like new, no ims problems whatsoever
+Augusto Ortiz yeah, my ran like new too until one day last year i found 9 liters of oil on the garage floor and it was all over. Car sold for parts.
+manglerman 2015 yeah once that happens its either a new engine or sell the car, it must feel terrible :/
