I'm Irish mid 30s, this is golden 90s TV and just silly edgy funny and brilliantly orated by a handsome man, has nothing quirky except the sheer humour and essence of whit he exudes, its fuckin brilliant and I been laughing my fuckin head off this past month!!!!

Taking risks means that occasionally, you're going to have jokes that fail or flop or (rightfully) offend or piss people off. This is largely hilarious, but there are some jokes in here that are just fucked up. He shouldn't have told them. And I think even Norm would agree. That's something modern comedians have forgotten: Occasionally, in your comedy, you will cross a line you shouldn't have. Don't make a big deal out of it, your joke bombed, move on.

But Norm found a way to be self aware but also always having a punch line. Weirdly meta without being meta is how I describe it.

Regarding the joke about the lady who had boiling hot mcdonalds coffee scald her skin off being a "senile old hag," the coffee was so hot that the lady had to have skin grafts on her crotch and both legs, also the lid of the coffee cup didnt fit the cup correctly, so it fell off easily, a known faulty design that mcdonalds chose to ignore (like the skin scalding temperature of their coffee which they had alrwady been repeatedly warned about), on top of that, she only "sued" to have her medical expenses covered after McDonald's refused to help her in any way. And *then,* to top it off, mcdonalds not only fought her, they orchestrated this horrific smear campaign against her in which they actually paid late night talk show hosts and comedians to spin the story and lie in order to annihilate her character to such a degree that she and her family actually had to go into hiding *after* she was finally released from intensive care.
That was a terrible story. I was one of the people fooled by mcdonalds scumbag pr campaign. For years I believed she was one of the worst of the fraudulent lawsuit crowd. Then I saw the pictures of her wounds and read what actually happened. Mcdonalds should still be apologizing to her.😢
