The time lapse video is what we need . Step by step like engine removal for idiots like myself , thought their was mention of 3.2 rebuild did I miss it . Thanks
There is great anticipation on the Porsche Forums to see your detailed engine teardown and reassembly. Many of us are informal students of Jake Raby so will be watching every little detail of the forthcoming Roaring Tigers video. There is no other video available and despite the great contributions of Raby and Dempsey, there is a huge gap in the knowledge base for the M96 engine - unless you are lucky enough to have attended the Raby/Callas 'school' . Good luck with this wonderful and brave attempt to add to the world of the infamous M96 - we need ALL the help we can get. I know my fellow Forum members will give you lots comments on what you post ,Beware they are a really tough but appreciative crowd.Expect lots of nit-picking and ridicule but be assured most of us will help you refine the video to produce the best of it;s type on TH-cam. Since Jake abandoned plans to publish his book : "The M96 Definitive Guide" - Roaring Tigers has become our great hope for engine rebuild help. Thank you for making theses videos .
Love the video on engine removal used it on my Boxster S project . Finished the short block did the heads could use a video for Engine accessories have pics not enough took me a year forgot a lot.
Hello Friend... I need your help... I have a 986 and I need to put the commands in sync .... the engine is shaking in the slow because it already came from another workshop so ... they set the engine and it was like this ... weak does not change gears and is shaking. I'll be grateful if you can help me
Fernando, sorry to hear you are having trouble with your Boxster. The symptoms you describe are fairly vague, and could be one of many possibilities. Always check the basics first: Fuel, Air, Spark. If all that is intact, and you feel the ECU memory has been compromised, you will need to find a shop or dealer in your area that can re-flash it. This does happen when folks upload programs from the internet in hopes of "magic" horsepower. Best of luck! -Steven
I'd love to see your detailed engine disassembly / reassembly of the 3.2! Keep up the fine work!
Excellent! We are looking forward to it too!
Ditto!
