    Hey Travelers!
    In today’s video, we’re discussing all things, quarterbacks prime! From its formation, it didn’t have it in, and it’s several monitors. So sit back, relax, and grab a snack - because this one is another doozy! Don’t forget to like and subscribe, and as always, sweet, rift walkers, I’ll see you tonight.

      Could have been a boltzmann brain. A spontaneous production of a fully formed sentient brain capable of thought and experience, and is the product of quantum fluctuations in the fabric of an infinite universe. Physicists theorize it's actually possible for it to just pop up in space.

    • @GhostLightXE
      @GhostLightXE  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yourbuddyunitsome have suggested this before but, as I understand it, the spontaneity is a key aspect of this? The lore directly points the it being an earlier iteration of the atlas, though HOW it came about is up for debate.
      Is there anything in what we know that supports this theory? Certain a “brain formed in the void” seems to support it…

    *I only just started playing "No Man's Sky" 2 days ago & I am FUCKIN' ADDICTED!!! The reason why I never tried it before, years ago, when it released, was because of it being a very "boring" game, that wasn't as big as everyone thought it was going to be... BUT after the years of development, it seems like "No Man's Sky" finally made the perfect game that everyone wanted, all with FREE updates, which is normally unheard of, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the "Live Service" game genre, which I'm not sure NMS could be considered a "Live Service" game but it's AMAZING to see HUGE updates & overhauls were given to the player base for FREE...*
    *So 2 days ago, I wanted to give "Starfield" some more play time, since I haven't beat the game yet, even though I have over 200 hours in the game 😅, because I spend most of my time just exploring & also the new updates, like the new vehicle you can travese planets with but after playing it for only like 20 mins, I heard a video I was watching mention the updates & overhauls NMS got and how it made the game 100x better & a damn near perfect masterpiece when it comes to space exploration...*
    *So I checked the Xbox Game Pass for PC & seen that NMS was free for Game Pass. So I downloaded it on my PC & was ABSOFUCKINLUTELY BLOWN AWAY that the game was only 18GB's & Starfield was over 150GB's but NMS is so much bigger.... Now after playing for like 12 hours or more, NMS has me completely addicted. Its a little overwhelming because there is so much to learn but that is what the game is all about... There so many questions I have about the Lore of NMS and these videos are ABSOFUCKINLUTELY AMAZING!!! PLEASE KEEP THESE VIDEOS COMING.*
    *Also, is there any super important tips & tricks anyone can give me? Also, is there a quick & easy way to explain the lore &/or story of the game in laymans terms? Lol. Thanks in advance! Keep up the great work travelers!*

    • @GhostLightXE
      @GhostLightXE  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey! Welcome to No Man’s Sky! I’m happy you’re enjoying the videos. The quick n dirty lore story is humans built a machine that can see the future by simulating every possible outcome of every possible decision. Once it predicted the end of the Earth, humans left the planet and left the machine behind. That machine simulates No Man’s Sky to try to understand why its creators left it behind all while it faces the end of the Earth scenario it predicted… all of that is outside of the game we play - we’re just meant to explore while the machine watches and learns from us… but once it dies, the simulation ends.

      @@GhostLightXE*man!!! This was a great way to explain it, even though its extremely dumbed down, it actually just made me understand what's going on even more! Of course it's a trillion times more in depth than this but it still helps to actually know the base of it all.*
      *I have been ABSOFUCKINLUTELY LOVING THIS GAME... I've been watching your lore videos over & over, trying to soak up all the details. Not to mention, your voice is hypnotizing & relaxing, all while at the same time, stern & serious. Your voice was built for this, you should look into voice acting on TH-cam, for other content creators, movies, video games &/or audio books!*
      *I think I have like 40 or more hours already in 3 days & still have so much to learn & explore. Outside of the story & main quests, what are the best 1-3 tips that you could give a new player, like myself? Thank you so much in advance, my brother! I have a couple homies that have been asking about Lore videos, so I will make sure to point them here! Keep up the great work! Thank you for all the videos homie... Really hope to see more in the future!*

    I just realised the Gek kay have been inspired by the Rakata in the Star Wars Legends canon. They enslave others and spread through the galaxy to dominate other species. Of course, this influence may have come from any number of galactic-focused sci-fi series like Dune, which Star Wars took heavy inspiration (if not outright stealing of ideas) from

    • @GhostLightXE
      @GhostLightXE  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It wouldn’t surprise me AT ALL. Much of the story (and in-game elements) seem to be “inspired” by popular, spaced-based sci-fi.

    【Shades Finnish Pirates】🤟---👒----🤟 Now i can start to watch this lore playlist, i got thorough the main questline / the autophage questline and now this Lore series is spoiler free for me 29:34 Korva means "Ear" in finnish, like the story that Santa Claus lives in Korvatunturi in Finland "Ear Mountain" and he can hear all the wishes of the children of earth from there. That's some earth lore for you, in appreciation of your perfect narrator voice and thank you for your efforts!

    • @GhostLightXE

    • @ShadesApeDJansu
      @ShadesApeDJansu 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I bet not... having a "Eye" "Silmä" would make sense since Korvax & Autophage have only one eye without counting the Autophage we construct at the Anomaly who has five and if it would be connected it's because Korvax & Autophage listen to the Void Mother & Atlas or since the Korvax live in hivemind listening to each other all the time.@@GhostLightXE

    *Something feels so eerie, probably because of the story & its details being discussed, when looking at the Subscription count on your channel, being "6.66K" ....* 😂😅🧐🙃🤯
    *It's also a little funny, only if you know about the "lore" behind placing a "K" behind some words, that there is a "K" after the subscriber count... Because in Street Gangs "Lore", placing the letter "K" behind a word &/or number, means "Killer" &/or "Kill"... So bascially "6.66Killer" which could be interpreted as "Devil Killer" since "666" is often thought of as an "Demonic Number"... I'm not super religious so I cannot remember the reason why "666" is seen as Demonic, IIRC it's because of the number of devils or something like that.* 😅

    this some good content, I love finding other TH-camrs that have such an appreciation for complicated sci-fi lore which sci-fi is my favorite genre like cyberpunk and the Kardashev scale, and when I got this game, I was not expecting the amount of condensed world building that I can’t get enough of, world building is one of my favorite parts of game design is learning the world through the characters and world you’re put in, it makes it feel so much more real when I’m playing it and makes me want to explore to figure out all of these mysteries and choose my own side, subscribed.

    16 glyphs, so there should be 16 Elixer of blood types? Im wearing my foil hat and looking into lore of dreams about green skies, obsidian moons and oceans of blood. Maybe there are 16 moon types, 16 fragments, and 16 glyphs. One blood type per moon that are echoes of Korvax Prime in a fragmented way. The combined moons would make Korvax Prime whole again

    • @GhostLightXE
      @GhostLightXE  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Well - the abandoned building lore is a little disjoined, with various authors doing unrelated things at various time. Interestingly, the “oceans of blood” passage was been around since the game released, before any of the modern lore of NMS was updated to the game.
      The events of Odvinsko seems to speak more to the failings of the boundaries of the multiverse, with the author finding a seemly alternate or future versions of themselves - green skies and obsidian moon was the description of the planet that they ultimately found destroyed.
      The origins of elixirs of blood are still unclear - I have a theory about how they relate to each location but I’m still working on my second play through.

    The currency the gek and all of use use is the remnants of korvax prime and the stuff of the korvax/aeron/sentinels. Its a sentient grey goop. Regretfully the best analogy i have is what they did to the venom symbiote origin retcon in marvel comics.

      That’s a tough one. Typically the AIs create life through simulations that it’s running - like, we’re actually playing the game from inside one of the atlas’ simulations, internally. It’s unclear if the Atlantid played a role in converting the Korvax from biological to technological beings. It’s kind of implied but never confirmed. The subsequent AIs cant create new life in our simulation outright. Only the atlas can.

      True, it can effect the universe around it but not create and edit it as the Atlas can. That’s why her influence is so weak in her current state, she doesn’t have write access. She read only. Now, she MAY have influence of simulation 19 on the prime terminal! That make be something!

    Edit: Since alantid is atlas i think it is the same supercomputer as the atlas. How they could have seperated due to the million of years of simulation and then the atlas Sub-systen became self-aware or through the stress of not knowing their fate. I think proof of thing interconflict is how aspect of the atlas are always fighting each other in the simulation. Gek V Korvax, and Vk'yeen V the sentinels.

      The lore says the Atlantid was born of an earlier version of the Atlas, which is a bit of a nod to Waking Titan. And being a brain formed in the void, there isn’t anything linking the Atlantid’s creation to the Atlas - but at this point it’s anyone’s guess!

      @@keetoeg This is true. I don't think they are one and the same, they are both similar entities that I think may end up joining at some point... There is an annoying Bootstrap Paradox that holds up the lore of NMS that everyone just ignores.
    There are two constants across all universes of the Atlas.
    The Atlas and the Sentinels.
    The galaxies are not in synch in time.
    This means that some universes are millions to billions of years ahead of others.
    There are multiple contradictions in the story we are given and it's due to this time dilation.
    The first offense was neither Sentinel nor First Spawn. It was the First Traveler and every traveler.
    The first sentinel screamed when we cut it open.
    Whenever this happened the sentinels became hostile across all galaxies in all times.
    The First Spawn destroyed Korvax Prime in part as retribution for the genocide on Balareon but the destruction of Korvax Prime is what we are told brought the Sentinels back... But the vykeen had already been fighting the sentinels.
    The Korvax were forced to take human form by the gek but the Korvax were already making living ship biological mechanical hybrids before Korvax Prime was destroyed.
    I appreciate your video. I think the Atlas and Atlantid have a relationship similar to Izanagi and Izanami in that they are seventh generation gods confused for prime creators.
    They are brother and sister, father and mother, pattern and matrix.
    There is a deeper story that is kind of out there but it seems like humanity's last hope was to enter the Atlas as sentient echos and live in the time dilation as the 16 minutes count down.
    Nada's simulation in the matrix is our escape into another lower level giving us the 19th minute.

    • @Loreweavver

      Subnote: in my head cannon the First Spawn we meet in the base archive computer is the Echo of Nal in the world of glass.
      The reptilian Vykeen are the evolved remnants of the amphibious First Spawn who left the spawning pools to escape the nanites.

      I talk a bit about the asynchronous nature of the multiverse a bit in this video.
      I like where you’re going with this but your making a few leaps that contradict some of the in-game source. First: Laylaps - cutting into laylaps and the relationship it builds with that traveler (who I’d like to link to null but there is t enough evidence to confirm) was setup by the Void Mother. She’s the one who named him saying it would be a name familiar to the traveler. So, Korvax Prime would have already been destroyed at that point, at least some universes. I don’t know that there is canonical evidence for the “who shot first” debate between the Vy’keen and sentinels but considering the technophobic nature of the former and the peaceful nature of the latter (pre-korvax prime destruction), my money would be on the Vy’keen.
      Interesting thought about escaping to Nada’s simulation though. The void mother’s plan involves converging all travelers “in the form of null” to reconstruct the creator (its in the upcoming video) so I wonder why she would need the creator of Nada already has a simulation? Hmm…

    • @GhostLightXE
      @GhostLightXE  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry - forgot to mention. The destruction of Korvax Prime brought the sentinels back - the war with the Vy’keen had pushed them further into the outer edge, away from Korvax Prime. I talk about this a bit in that video as well as reference the in-game content.

    • @Loreweavver
      @Loreweavver ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GhostLightXE I believe it was one of the boundary failures that gave the story of the sentinels committing genocide on Balareon as one of the first instances of system failure.
      The contradictions are kind of my point. The lore is canonically contradictory hence the anomaly.
      I only focus on the first traveler killing the first sentinel as the first offense as it seems to be the story that comes up the most often and Null is very vague about what exactly he did and there are many instances where the game seems to be hinting that the sentinels are as "human" as the travelers or at least that the travelers, sentinels, Korvax, vykeen and gek are all more related than seem at first appearance.

    • @Loreweavver
      @Loreweavver ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GhostLightXE I just started the chapter one video and it already referenced things I hadn't heard anyone bring up before. How they were testing if their universe was the real world or a simulation by measuring for lag when running their own simulation of the universe is brilliant and should be in more sci Fi.
      I figure that rather than crossing comments I should make a better summary of what I mean and shoot you a long form message later on.
      One of the things I find appealing about this game is how my perception of things has changed over multiple playthroughs.
      First time through, Nada was a helpful friendly stranger with a Lifeboat archiving data about their universe and giving anomalies a home.
      Playing the Artemis path after the recent expedition give many of her lines subjective meaning.
