Simone made it look so easy that I decided that I'd give it a try....the doctors have recommended several rehabilitation centers to help me recover from my paralysis.

Gymstatic14 It's contagious and I find myself smiling just as big, while watching her. I'm excited to watch her journey to Rio. She is definitely one of our best gymnast of all time. She turned the sport up a notch or two.

I know right and some fans associate that serious look as artistry. Please. I'd rather see a gymnast who smiles, than those who looks like hell came upon them. Must be one of the reason why Biles is on top. She is enjoying her own sport.

She's amazing, her double layout was beautiful and her whole routine was just perfect.
Her tumbling is phenomenal!! I think if she got a lesson or two with Rachel Brice on her choreography this routine would be pure magic.

Her third pass was almost a Whip + DD. Could've been a 7.0 sv! Crazy, she did it so well. Should think about adding that whip!

WOW.... Excellent choreography, tumbling, music, leaps, everything!! Such a breath of fresh air after watching Skinner's routine.. not even a comparison. Beautiful execution and her routine was almost hypnotizing. True talent and hard work. Can't wait to see her in Rio!

+Dawn Solomon Biles is more than great, she may the greatest female gymnast ever. Some say Nadia because she was so far ahead of anyone in 1976. Biles has now upgraded her first pass to a double layout with the twist in the 2nd layout. Her V is still not doing a Cheng Fei though. I do not know why she can not land it. She has upgraded her UB and I saw her practicing an Arabian on BB. If Biles puts in an Arabian and still do her front somi with a half. It will be by far the hardest BB routine in the World. And she can win BB with a fall. On BB, Biles will have 2 F and one G. No one who is in contention of a World medal on BB can do a G, currently. And Biles;s G is connected to two ffs. As for the men, I do NOT think anyone will deny the complete dominance that Kohei has for winning the 2012 Olympics AA titles AND SIX consecutive World Championship AA titles plus a silver in the 2008 Olympics in the the AA
BTW, Shirai just increase his DD on FX by adding a perfectly straight double layout 3/1...the most difficult pass you can do on FX with a H rating. That makes his max difficulty level at a ridiculous 7.7 without doing a roll out. He intends to upgrade to a 8.0 by the next Worlds. Shirai can do this by doing either a layout Thomas or a Ri Jong Song(double tuck with 3 twists which is easy for him instead of one of his triple twists.
Kohei downgraded his FX to a 6.5. He said he did not need a higher start value to win the AA and there is no way he can beat Shirai anyway on FX. I a;m shocked that Kohei downgrades his very difficult Li X at 6.2 to a mere Y.2.5 at 5.6 while Shirai may win V with his upgrade to a Li X at 6.2 and aY.3.5 at 6.4 And he is far cleaner than the Koreans. But Kohei increased his difficult on PH, HB and added a double front 1/2(F) as his PB dismount just as Shirai did. I can not wait to see the next WC.
Unfortunately, I saw the Russians in practice, and if they do not peak by WC, they will not medal. The Chinese have increased their level of difficulty already. And the Brits are looking very good in both the men and women side. I have not seen the Romanias doing well. I really miss their legendary legacy.

I love watching floor routines. I met Dominic Zito (lead choreographer for US women's gymnastics team) several times. He's from Cleveland OH & comes to a casino where I work. He said he's working w/ 18 different girls righr now. He's so interesting to talk to. Last time I saw him he said "yeah...I was just working w/ Gabby this week..." I love asking him about the gymnasts. Alicia Sacramone is my personal favorite & he said she's very cool & laid back. I wish I could just be his personal assistant or something so I could travel around & meet all these gymnasts. I've always had such great respect for them & the amount of work they put in. Can't wait for Rio!!! #TeamUSA2016 #GOLD

EdGringo78 The Russians are doing everything they can to catch the US team and really seem to be the only team who are hungry for it. China is really just going with the flow and Romania wonders if they'll even make the podium nowadays. So far they have 2 Amanars (Paseka and Afanasyeva) and 3 Amanars in the works (Mustafina, Komova and Tutkhalyan and possibly Melnikova too) so they're really trying to up their D scores to match the US team.

Sounds great, but if you either replace the Double Layout with a Dos Santos (layout double arabian) or get rid of the double layout completely and put a silivas between the chuso and the biles it would be total BEAST MODE!

Still don't think it should have been 9.2 execution yes her tumbles and leaps are done extremely well but her landings, not so much (apart from the double double)
Jordan Sefton I agree, but the scores always swell for Americans at the American Cup. However, I dont think it would actually matter in simone's case; she couldve taken another step on each of her landings but her difficulty and execution are such that she still woulddve blown everyone out of the park, haha
Her chest was low on her double double. So while it was a good landing, she still would've had a tenth or two taken off there. She can get away with it because her difficulty is so high. Most gymnasts perform the equivalent of an E rated skill here, some have an F equivalent, but Biles pulls an H.
+nchllltmr The scores aren't just inflated for Americans, they're pretty inflated for everyone. Although I do think this routine of a Simone's was a bit over scored with all the large bounces and I believe it's sort of like Ashton Locklear where they are so blown away by the difficulty that they don't pay as much attention to the large hops or low landings. But I do think her judging in worlds in qualifications was on point.

I am directing this to someone who knows gymnastics and is not bias. Is there even much competition for Biles if she stays uninjured until Rio and continues like this? I am serious, is there any realistic contenders to take gold from her? I understand anything can happen THAT day, but it is kind of taking the excitement out of Rio AA for me. She is just too good.
Yes We know Biles is on top of right now and can be unbeatable come Rio 2016 if she stays healthy and as good as this. But for me personally, it does not take the excitement come Rio because every gymnasts from other countries is trying to catch up on her and wants to be the one to beat Biles plus all this fans of the other gymnasts tries and prays so hard for Biles to fail and always tear her apart on artistry etc, I am excited on Biles proving them wrong and taking those medals in Rio and letting them eat those words.
No 2nd at worlds this year was gabby Douglas so was 1 point behind and simone had a really bad day she touched beam went out of bounds on floor and took a few steps on vault , in qualifications she was 4 points ahead
