I love the way you play, Patti. So natural. Kudos also to all of your diligent and talented accompanists.

Very nice version. Trying to learn the "Canadian" style of bowing/playing. Iove this,

Tobi Mackey thanks! Have you checked out www.fiddlevideo.com? I’m one of the instructors there and talk a lot about bowing in my lessons. If you indicate me as your instructor of choice I receive credit. :). All the best to you!

I grew up hearing this, learning to waltz to this. I nearly wrecked my car one day because of it. I was on my way to work and a new song came on the country station I was listening to. It sounded so familiar, I kept thinking, I've heard this somewhere. The radio was playing TG Shepard "Last Cheaters Waltz".
It dawned on me it was Westphalia Waltz.
    Nooooooooooo.

Nice. Very individualistic! It's got elements of Texas Swing, lots of upbowing...Hmmm...Cape Breton style perhaps?
    Slides, doublestops and trills...WOW!! I'm studying...TY- subscribed!

Northcountry Hermit thanks for the kind words. I’m a Canadian fiddler from Manitoba and play for lots of old time dances. No Cape Breton style here but I’m definitely a fan. :) I grew up listening to Don Messer, Graham Townsend, Reg Bouvette, and Andy Dejarlis.
