Welcome to the world of V Square! Have been using them for past 2+ years even going down to the 19 gauge version. Insane amount of spin is possible as long as your technique is solid. Easy to get extra depth due to higher launch angles which equates to fewer balls in the net!! When I started using them, had a lot of USTA teammates switch after seeing how much ball action I was getting. Keep up the good work…
I have not tried V SQ I have used V-PRO which is one of the strangest polys ever I wear it out in about 5 hrs and it goes dead as a door nail but before it goes dead it is SUPER ! Huge pocketing, spin control for 5 so hours so then a totally different string.
Wondering if a full bed of square string really work- or better to use a round co-poly on the cross to let it slide? Harry, may i ask how's your hand after stringing a sharp edged square string? Also does the sharpness last long after several hours of hitting?
Good overall string if you haven't tried the likes of toroline I have used it for 10 years plus being the most durable set up until I found toroline wasabi simply outlasting and out classing v-square in every way
Curious how this V-Square would compare to the Toroline Wasabi, which is also a square string. Based on Harry's results after hitting with it for a little bit, his strings are already loosing quite a bit of tension for it not to snap back all the way.
The v square is a very good string and has a much more crisper feel than the wasabi. I used a 660 ft reel of it. Great control, feel, and spin potential. Decent tension maintenance. I did not care for the feel of the wasabi. The wasabi felt very muted. Spin wise I think the V Square is way better. The only thing that I think the wasabi is better than v square is durability. It took me 3 weeks to break the wasabi and I broke the v square about every week.
@@vickip4111 Spin is very similar for both strings, ultra cable loses that spin in just 2 hours. The whole time it felt firm and unpleasant. V square similar spin but keeps at that level much longer and comfy until it almost breaks.

Doesn't hurt that much, nothing crazy but can definitely feel it

When you mention 'new generation' of strings, which others would you consider are similar?

Wounder how it compares to Solinco Tour Bite Soft?
Not even close lol? Way more spin
my prayers have been answered
gonna run the 18 in my percept 100D when my 18g cyclone explodes
My String !!
Seems quite similar to Technifibre 4S
Weiss Cannon Ultra Cable
I played both. V square is better hands down, especially playability and tension maintenance.
Weiss Cannon Ultra Cable is a spin monster, but a firm string...which is odd, because tension maint on it is bad.

Tension loss=complete. Erratic trampoline, that string is total garbage. Like the crappiest knockoff of Hyper G to ever.
