Carolina In My Mind (James Taylor)-Guitar Song Essentials

- This James Taylor classic isn't difficult to play-the chords are straightforward and fit nicely under the fingers; and although it goes at quite a pace and there are a few sequences with lots of shapes in quick succession, there's nothing too tricky.
In this video, we'll look at all the chord shapes, the structure of the song, picking suggestions-including several bars tabbed out exactly as JT played it, bass runs and a bunch of other things so you can create an authentic performance of this gem.
We finish off with a playthrough and then just the backing track so you can play along whenever you like!

celle-ci est une FG-335 qui date de 1981. J’ai une deuxieme, pareille, qui a été avec moi depuis quarante ans, tu peut la voir à gauche -je l’ai beaucoup joué, et celle que je joue ici j’ai eu la chance de trouver (ebay) il y a 12 ans, àpeine joué. Ces Yamahas ne se nt pas cheres, mais beaucoup d’entre elles ont développé des problemes de cou. Derrière la guitare à gauche, il y a une FG-200 (1972) que j’ai trouvé il y a quelques mois et qui a un sonorité incroyable pour fingerpicking- mais elle a aussi des problèmes qui sont tout à fait normales chez les guitaires de plus de 50 ans. Elles enregistrent très bien mais je utilise un bon micro (Austrian Audio OC818) qui donne du vie à tout ce que j’en mets devant. je devrais faire un vidéo pour montrer les guitares et comment on peut les enregistrer. merci pour l’intérêt!
@@dalstondavid Merci David pour ta reactivité , je vais chercher une meme guitare car les prix d une Martin , Taylor ,Gibson ;.... sont inabordables pour l instant je joue (attention petit joueur de 75 ans !) avec guitares canadienne Simon et Patrick, Art et Luterie(parlor) , Takamine et une parlor chinoise une vielle 12 cordes Eko obtenue pour presque rien et que j ai restauré) , une bonne classique bref je collectionne . Il faudrait juste s’assurer que l’action n’est pas trop haut (je ne connais pas le mot en français… la distance entre les cordes et le front du cou). Je dirais vers les 300/350€ pour une FG-335 en bon état.
