The one person that did a thumbs down ! I would like to take you on ! How could you ever give a thumbs down !
thats somebody that cant do this.. has 0 talent... and they have to bring somebody else down
His beautiful playing never gets old. Thanks to Pete, I now have two beautiful Collings OM guitars. Hope you're jamming with the angels....
I will miss your playing and teaching Pete... Thanks . SN
gonna miss the master
So sad that we lost Pete :-(
We had tickets to see him in Connecticut but he died before we got the chance to see him. Such a sad loss.
Really cool - hope I can learn some of Pete's stuff one day! And JT is okay too...the guitar gatherings are fun. Pete could play anything!
He was a sweetheart and his wife was the best
wish you guys could have stay focused on james taylor
I’m commenting early in viewing this but I love Pete’s “JT” arrangement of On Eagle’s Wings and played it in church a few times, making it my own by adding warts! This rendition was angelic and gives me faith that he is in a better place. Rest in peace.
Excellent guitarist, I remember him mostly playing in John Denver’s band , but he was of course an accomplished artist in his own right.
rest in peace we truly miss you
Another gent, genius, great guy, gone too early.
Thank you for posting this videos. Great channel. It really repls
Great video!
23:00 "Millworker" is also tuned in drop D
+James Thompson YEP!
Such a sad loss. I truly wish I could have gotten to see him in person. He was excellent.
Love this conversation. thanks guys :)
They got fired because they wanted the band to be under 30? *WTF?*
Old cunts will do that. They are nasty. Stay away from them. A woman over 25 is finished!
mill-worker he plays a drop d as well.
James Taylor on technique
Pete's an amazing player. Miss him very much.
Such a great talent, so glad videos of him are available.
Yes, he was a great player and friend.
His nails are artificial. He said that they can't last with his playing schedule.
Then he should use a plastic thumb pick and metal finger picks. Yes, they take getting used to. If you are going to play any 12 string, it is a must. I see people trying to play a 12 string with bare fingers. They typically miss strings, picking only one string of the pair. If you have a lady friend, she will not enjoy a man having long finger nails.
@@thomaspick4123 You’re right, and James Taylor is wrong.
@@thomaspick4123 metal fingerpicks suck with guitar. Too much string tension
very good
Such a shame he suffered ill health...great guy..great show...RIP Pete.
amazin guys
Just learned about Pete.
Does anyone know when/what year this interview was recorded? Thank you
It must have been near the end of his life. I believe he had a heart replacement. Under that black jacket, there is a black belt from right to left, that would be supporting his battery pack to keep his heart pumping.
April 2015?
yeah
Pete said his guitar has "maple back and sides," but it's mahogany - just a slip-up, no biggie.
sleep well
He was one in a million or more ! Love this hymn but I love all of them !
