After all it's cheap. What do you expect. And... sometimes we are the one that too lazy to do some research because we expect all cheap hotels have similar standard. Judging JB based on a one-night stay in a low cost hotel is like going to Chicago, staying at O Block for a night and giving a negative review of the entire city. Johor has its charms, there's a reason why hundreds of thousands of Singaporeans go over every weekend. Every place on Earth has its pros and cons. As a traveller, it is your job to visit after doing your homework, and approach with an open mind. This is a place of friendly people, great food, rich diversity, amongst other things, and beyond the negativities you have experienced. I hope you will have a better experience if you were to visit JB again. Cheers.

its good that you document your good and bad experiences while travelling, but when you're travelling, it is important to understand certain things with an open mind. Comparing Malaysia with SIngapore is not the way to experience while travelling. In fact, you shouldn't be comparing anything at all regardless where you travel to because that is the whole point of exploring different countries. For me personally, this video shows your true character and personality and its not looking good buddy. Improve.
