@kred792 Jimmy G's first half season with us was insane! 6-2? Remember we were 0-8 and then we traded for him and it looked like (just like Brock Purdy) he was our savoir. Well we know what happened next but I will give Jimmy G he's credit. He was a average quarterback who didn't do too much but didn't do enough neither.
Hackenberg was so bad he couldn’t even compete for a practice squad slot, the only reason he was on that roster as long as he was was because he was selected so damn high by incompetent management
He's good in the locker room and getting the starting QB ready for the game. He's awesome in practice which makes him a good backup to run the scout team. You just hope to death you never need to use him

Would love to see a a video on the 2015 QB class. All backups and a couple of guys who never made it though I thought they’d be better (Bryce Petty, Brett Hundley, Connor Halliday). Also would mind the 2016 QB draft as well. Besides Goff, this one was littered with busts. Wentz, Lynch, Hackenberg, Cook, Cardale Jones, Jake Coker et al.
I was one that said he Patrick Mahomes was going to be a great legendary QB and so far he is. I said that as soon as he announced he was entering the nfl Draft.
49ers wasted their gains on that trade, if it makes you feel any better. Cut Soloman Thomas, cut Rueben Foster, cut Dante Pettis, and missed out on Alvin Kamara
After Garrett went #1 overall, there was no reason to trade. If Mitch went #2 to SF, then Bears pickup Watson instead. Everyone is kicking themselves in the foot for overlooking Mahomes, but honestly there's no doubt in my mind most teams would have squandered him too. He landed in the exact right place.

Not really. There are currently 23 QBs in the HOF and the only year that I can recall that had multiple HOFers was 1983. This doesn't even include sure things like Peyton Manning (1998), Brady (2000), Mahommes (2017) and Brees (2001) and potential entrants like Rothlisberger (2003), Rivers (2003), Stafford (2009), Rogers (2004) and Eli Manning (2003).
Calling Watson a bust is a wild take. Man made the playoffs twice and led the league in passing. He maybe overpaid now due to his ridiculous contract but far from a bust. He was considered a top 5 QB before he left football for nearly a yearf and a half.
@Lifesabeach91 he didn't fail the team that drafted him. Lol he played very well for the Texans. Gave them everything you look for a franchise QB until the relationship went soul. @@Attack_Pillowwtf are you talking about? He took those horrible Texans to the playoffs multiple times and won the division as well. You people don’t watch / know football. Trubisky needed more development. sad what happened to him. If he's a good system quarterback then play to his strengths, and script the hell out of the game plan.
everyone gets on the bears for taking tribiksi instead of mahomes but the real crime was the 49ers passing on mahomes and taking soloman after the bears gifted them mahomes
The problem with the Bears when they drafted Trubisky was, they were drafting a quarterback with the highest floor, not the highest ceiling. Trubisky did many things well, but he was not great or elite at anything. Suppose you do not have any elite skill sets as a quarterback, such as athleticism, passing ability, or ability to read defenses. In that case, you will never be better than a league-average quarterback. Trubisky was never better than a league-average starter at best.
Those allegations against Watson were handled outside of civil court, there were never any criminal charges. That's not definitive proof the allegations were true.
