If this man does not become a tester imma cry. He can make like 3 videos in the span of a day explaining why something is entirely broken, insanely good or OP or mind numbingly horrible.
I feel like if he was a tester he prob wouldn’t be allowed to tell us all this stuff. Like yeah he would have access to better tools to find bugs and such and he would have more direct contact with devs but without the community knowing they may just remain untouched even if testers find them
@@ItzJustDomino A tester's normally just tests things and make sure they are in working order/functional. Posting what is wrong with talents/mantra's/weapons/etc shouldn't be an issue. Only difference from telling the devs as a tester and telling youtube is that the public get to see whats messed up rn. and i mean if he didn't post anything thats fine aswell. (it benefits out gameplay beacuse he will be testing everything)

can you experiment around with royal etrean guard armor, specifically the paired soul talent. the wiki says that alloyed katana gets a 5% dmg boost meanwhile the build maker says 25%.
good video, can you maybe check out jumpstart/static withdraw/rampaging static/etc, like a video testing it all and showing the differences between all of the talents? maybe also see how it works with charged return/nullifying clarity? Maybe flame within too or other buff moves hmm...
@@jpg6968what I can only assume is that charged return only counts the initial shock status that you get when popping jumpstart, which stuns you until it’s over.

Hey brother. For a future video, I would really appreciate if you tested Looyskipper talent. I've seen a lot of complaints that people struggle to get the ingredients for monster-mantras WITH the lootskipper talent (myself included), yet I also managed to get a terrapod shell on a throwaway burner freshie slot. I'm really curious if it's just dumb luck, or if something is actually up with the talent.
Canonically, an Ironsinger carries metal on their person and manipulates the metals embedded in the surroundings to cast mantras so it would make sense that most of its damage is physical in some regard.
the truth is it doesnt exist as a separate stat anymore and can only be increased internally through talents for that specific attunement (azure flames, glacial ice) and through using vibrant gems (sometimes)
It doesn't do jack shit other than break environmental stuff better. They made it not increase damage way back then in verse 1 as they thought that doing more damage at the cost of more ether was a terrible idea, or at least that's how I've always viewed it.
How does this work with Ferryman's cloak cuz ik it can turn m1s (i think) into lightning attacks when hit by them, is it considered a lightning and physical or just lightning?

When an elemental move strikes the wearer, the Outfit (visually) lets out bolts of lightning." It might not anymore but I can remember their was a time where physical attacks could be converted into because i used to only use ferryman's coat for a few months lol, tbh Ferryman's coat could be a whole video

you resist everything, it's not separated in any way unless the mantra specifically does that (flashfire sweep is lightning for the sweep, fire for the uppercut)

By the logic that only the highest protection will apply, does that means having Physical armor on an equipament with monster armor is useless PvE wise?
@@ardreal279 ill tell you how it works (i think) lets say you get 30% from your outfit (im just doing phys here) itll multiply the dmg u take by 0.7x. Now let's add 20% from your equipment (hat and boots combined (added), your dmg is then multiplied by 0.8x on top of the original 0.7x. and you keep repeating this with all resistances (exoskeleton, other stuff, etc). To complete it, when you multiply the 0.8x and 0.7x you will get 0.56x dmg. so by combining a 30% resitance and a 20% resistance you will get 44% resistance(phys). I hope this helps, and that you understood.(also someone correct me if im wrong) :) Also the max (im pretty sure is) 59.2% blunt, 52.4% slash with no talents, Authority Commander, vigil hood or deepwoken hood (all, but 1 pip into phys), delver duster or any 3 legendary pip arms (all, but 1 pip into phys). Im also doing all but 1 pip because apparently (i havent tested this) a equipment cant have all its pips into 1 thing if its like past 2 stars or smthn i forgot. it could be false.

jumpstart doesnt work with charged return because the shocked status itself prevents you from swinging

no, monster armor is unique as in it's applied on top of whatever relevant resistance it is

if you get exo it'll turn into 57.16% slash and 63.28% blunt
All mantras lvl 1 to lvl5
each level a mantra increases its damage by 20% but some mantras like ice skate gain special properties like being able to stay in the air for longer
