Read “Crystallizing Public Opinion” by Edward Bernays written in the late 1920s or early 1930s… it’s exactly what the left is doing. Matt mentioning the “talkers” gave me one of the bigger pieces to the puzzle.

I think a point that may be missed by both these brilliant honest men is the apathy in civic discourse and politics in general is because of the media and the dem party that has shoved the dem agenda down our throats in entertainment, sports, social media, and of course the cable new networks who have over played the interest in politics by NOT reporting the news but trying to make the news from an obviously bias perspective and frankly much of America has tuned out which means these shitheads have won

Repetition DOES effect people whether they are aware of it or not. Check out any marketing text. So the DNC puts out the word of the day - let's say, for instance, "joy" - and then their media activists all say it across many platforms from "news" shows to late night "comics" and, in a few days, if you ask regular people how they would describe Kamala Harris' campaign they'll say "joy" or "joyous" or at least have a positive view of the campaign.

Existence is weird, and our ignorance of the unknown is relatively normal. Think about everything you know, and then realize it is all essentially a faith based system of beliefs.

Democrat leadership assumes we are at a 7th grade level or below when it comes to politics. Weird is ick. Nobody wants to hang with the weirdo and become a target for bullies. Weirdness rubs off. Those who function above that level are in on the plan and so they play along. Such a disappointing strategy.

At all. How do people not understand history. ...

Tip O'Neil served as minority House leader during the Reagan era, and was a much better representation of what Democrats are supposed to be as a balance to the excess of the right. The party changed for the worse during the Clinton era, and has never been the same since. Yes, there have been good Democrats in your lifetime that stood for what the left should. The man from Arkansas threw it all away in order to gain the presidency...

@@randylahey8207 my mom and dad were warning about the left before I was born. There are always "some" on either side who stand up for American principles.... But you can go back to Woodrow Wilson FDR and Truman to see when the democratic party began to go silently into the vipers pit of one world governance and globalism at the low low cost of liberty....and they have been joined by many a supposed republican since

People are pretty desperate for good news. The problem is, they often look forward to parroting bad news for others as good news, even though it's shallow or has little meaning other to be bad for the other side. The average person complains more than they talk positive. It's actually one of the best indicators of a marriage or relationship to fail is the ratio of good to bad talking points. Be remember the bad over good, especially if it's something simple you tell them is good but they disagree with on something in a bad way there're the positives need to outweigh the negatives 6 to 4. long story short. don't date a democrat if you're a republican. all they will hear is bad news.
