There's one set that Wiz kids could make and I think a lot of people would love.
Would be strod himself, but in three to four encounter levels.
The first would be a youthful more humanesque style of features, maybe raising a glass to his potential victims.
The others would be a progression of his vampire traits and possibly damage from combat.
The last would be an intimidating presence maybe levitating with his cape torn turning into bats.

Love the minis, but the paint jobs were only so-so. The other sets seemed to be painted better.
2:30 those eyes on the mini are giving me nightmares
Am I the only one who thinks, some of the paint jobs on these sets have been… less that stellar
Lots of blotches and missed spots
I’ve learned its best to buy when you can see them. Buy through the mail, it’s a total gamble. Put any two of these boxes side by side and you’ll likely see drastic differences. I have to say I have seen some absolutely fantastic paint jobs, then pick up the next box, and… whoa! Not so much…
I have two sets and both are worse than the minis I painted myself, I just started painting 4-5 months ago. I thought pre painted would be better but I was sorely mistaken
@@Dannydarko27 yeah most pre painted minis look bad, i usually just buy non painted minis (i can't paint eyes but it's better to have no painted eyes rather than really badly painted ones imo). you can always repaint the pre painted ones

I've said it before the model that would be awesome to see is castle Ravenloft itself, and yes as another commenter pointed out before it would probably cost a bundle, but the castle is a character unto itself and the most important arguably in the whole adventure. I would like to see a model of Sergei and poor doomed Tatiana as well.

Ok now time for my rant on all things currently wrong with Ravenloft and what they did to it. I personally hate that they gave Strahd 3 brides ,a groom, and a girl he is going to add to his coterie! I don't mind that they made Strahd bisexual my problem is that he would take wives or husbands at all. Firstly in the Ravenloft setting it's impossible for a vampire too create more than one bride or groom at a time because the ritual itself damages the initial vampire but also gives it a bond with the bride/groom, a vampire created from the initial vampire draining the victims blood creates a meat servant vampire which is totally subservient to it's master, the bride/groom is independent of the parent vampires commands and has more freedom than the servant vampire. As per lore the bound between the master vampire and it's bride/groom may be broken and then the master can give it's blood when creating another vampire to make a new bride/groom but they can only have one at a time. All of this is not taking into the fact that Strahd would only ever make one bride and that would be Tatiana. Everything Strahd does is because of his obsession for her, otherwise the dark powers could never torment him as they do
This is a great set too - sooo many Vampires! I know they are just Vampire Spawn, but nothing stopping us from using them as full-fledged Vampires. And yeah, as you said, the 3 brides are a classic Dracula staple and they can be used either as Vampires or as nobles.
Rahadin is a bit odd since his skin color is so close to Strahd's own. I had to remind myself this was not Strahd! But otherwise, pretty close representation of the artwork.
Hope next set gives us some (more) Werewolves, possibly more Mongrelmen too. A few Wereravens would be cool as well, and especially Strahd's Animated Armor.

The next could be the Tavernsfolk Denizes from "Blood on/of the Vine" NPC's, Arik, etc... coupled with "Blue Water Inn" like wolf hunters Szoldar & Yevgeni, or go monsters pack with a Shambling Mound, Scarecrows and werewolves Strahd Zombie, Blights, and an Animated Armor!
So my players can afford the 10x+ price hikes of Bildrath's Mercantile, the party can go on difficult bounty hunter (side) quests to earn gold.

Do you guys have any insight on why the quality of the prepainted minis are dropping so much? I was looking forward to this set but the paint job looks so terrible for 40 bucks.

Cool set, ordered mine in November but still waiting on them to be shipped here in the UK. Emil looks a little on the strange side, his eyes being in line with his nose and nothing where his eye's are sculpted.

They send us products early and we occasionally get the chance to talk to their employees, but we're not officially associated with them or employed by them or anything like that. We basically started out covering WizKids booster sets that we bought with our own money, and folks liked the way we filmed them enough that we eventually got on WizKids' press list.
It’s pretty smart for Wizkids to send em free merchandise, then have them be well advertised to thousands of potential customers! Let’s face it, “I’m going to go browse wizkids' website to see what's news” isn’t nearly as cool as a well-made video!

Maybe if you are only planning of running Curse of Strahd this will be your last but having this many nobles might pick it up before i even start running Curse of Strahd haha
