very clear vid..I wanted to say that since access is made easy changing to a new thermostat (89°c) is a good idea to complete the full task..and watch out for that engine block torx bleed screw..she's 'fragile'..!!

Weird that my mechanik lied me, i gave car to change coolant liquid, he did but on papers he gave its written charge is only for 1litre liquid 😅

thank you for this video ive been looking for the bleed valve for a few days
i have a 206 with 1.1 engine ...my problem is i feel like the fan turns on too late .... i read online that the medium intensity fan turns on at 85 to 90 .... mine turns on at half intensity at 100 degrees and at full blast at 110 degrees .... do you have any idea why it does this ??
It could be a faulty thermostat, coolant temperature sensor or something else
Mine is exactly the same. Coolant looks dirty so gonna change it and see if that helps

Why do I have to remove the air filter? Can't you just bleed it from the bottom?
He did that to unscrew the second bleed nut on the left side of the cylinder
The coolant in my expansion tank is like frothy. How do I flush this from the cooling system please?
Did it become frothy after you changed it or was it already frothy ?. If so it could be a sign of an underlying issue. Check this link: askinglot.com/what-does-it-mean-when-your-coolant-is-foamy
this is not correct since the antifreeze was not completely replaced! How much antifreeze did you drain? 2-3 liters?

The manual recommends BASF Glysantin G33-23F or Gurit Essex Revkogel 2000 or equivalent.
Mine is 307 and was easier to get to the bleed screw on the thermostat than on this one.
Do you recommend G11 or G12 coolant for a petrol 1.1 206?
Either one is fine

I don't know, I really don't lol. Have you seen a video on changing the air filter on a Peugeot 308 ?......now there's a complicated job !
@@screwsnutsandbolts my sister owned 308 and it burned oil like it was two stroke :))) hahahah ...I own Lancia Kappa 2.0 5.20 ...even with massive 5 cylinder engine, everything is on hands reach.
my fan isnt turning on and off after following all the steps at the end, does this matter that much?
Maybe the engine isn't getting hot enough ?

I'm not sure if the 1.9D is exactly the same as this. It's not covered in the manual I have.
for the 1.9d engine you need 8.2 litres
