Between my husband and myself we have been to Israel 23 times. We never ever get tired of Israel. We have traveled with both tour groups and on our own. Two years ago we rented a car and traveled by ourselves for two weeks. We saw sites the tour busses couldn’t get to. It was a beautiful trip on our own. Never once did we feel at threat for our safety. Thanks for your updates.
I went in 2019 and it had such a huge part in my surrender to the Lord. First time I felt and was staunchly aware of the Holy Spirit!

We have been there this Easter season from Palm Sunday to Easter Monday with my wife and two kids. We visited all the main sites, from Tiberias, Nazareth, and Haifa to Jerusalem and Bethlehem. We could feel the tension, as you said, but we felt safe.
We had a fantastic time without the crowd.
However, I wouldn't suggest anyone travel based on the latest developments.
I wish everyone to visit the Holy Land at least once in a lifetime.

On the other hand I have gotten the second best by viewing a YT channel (relaxing walker I think) that walked me through so many wonderful places and got the sights and sounds so that was fun! How much is the cost of the trip in December? Going to Israel is at the top of my bucket list.
The base trip cost is right around $3900 then you can add an extension to Jordan (3 days) for a little over $1000. This is the cheapest I could possibly make the trip, and the cheapest I’ve seen pretty much anywhere.

There are groups that could take you for sure. You just have to find them and it may be a little more limiting, but it is possible! Many places are wheelchair accessible these days.
