I also like him. +++ I liked Jared Leto. I enjoyed the first Suicide Squad so much and his line "I'm not gonna kill you. I'm just gonna hurt you really really bad" seems so iconic to me. All part of my outsider life.

I personally like this take on the Joker, it shows there's many variants of him around the multiverse and this one just knows how to make people's skin crawl while he enjoys every second of it, feels like he legit has a mental problem after all everything is a mere joke to him the more sick the joke the funnier it is to him

I actually really like this version of Joker. We all know the ones we know, and this is something new, a version different than any portrayal we’ve seen. I appreciate the variety in a character that is synonymous with chaos.

I feel like this is like the gotham joker and Harley situation. Where warner bros said they aren't quite the joker or harley but they're stand ins for them, however that doesn't make them any less villainous or competent villains

I'm thinking about the fact that this Joker is not so bad. Yes, he is the worst among the others, but this is a sacrifice for the sake of the plot, since a real Joker would hardly work with them. However, they still messed up with the design ( and i have a some ideas for it ):
Face - he looks like a teenager trying to cosplay the Joker when the original Joker looked like a monster who had seen some shit and didn't come back normal. The new Joker might have a scar or an ugly smile like in Origin (I love that version of the Joker). Maybe glasses, since this is an alternate version of the Joker and why not? Perhaps the scar on his nose-who knows what Batman did to him over the years of their confrontation.
The voice - the original voice perfectly suits THIS Joker - young, expressive, not frightening. I'm for Troy Baker.
The costume is similar to the original and why not? It suits me, even though I'm a fan of Origins in everything.
Personality - I don't even know. I think the plot should have raised the topic of how this Joker and the original are somewhat different, including in their relationship with Harley. I think the Joker should often sadistically joke about others, while secretly taking care of them (but pretending that for him the whole world and his comrades are just his toy, which he does not share). Perhaps the new Joker would have awakened in Harley some of the bad feelings she felt for the original Joker. Most likely, the Joker often manipulated Waller's desire to kill him, as he once did with Batman.
I mean it is a multiverse. They aren't going to be the same, despite technically being the same. Why duplicate the same person over again? I imagine it's just similar to how they're taking the handle of the Spiderverse. They're all spiderman/woman/whatever, but they're all very VERY different personality wise and costume wise.

1. New Joker secretly cared about team, when original never does
2. New one just having a best life, when the original wanted play with Batman or whatever.
3. New Joker maybe have feelings to Harley, when original lost them long time ago
And, still - Joker is Joker, i may change him, but his core is similar, as with Spider-Man
I really enjoyed his gameplay just wish there was more story to him like at LEAST a tutorial level of him getting caught by brainiac for the first time or whatever
Too crazy for brainiac is where the positives start and ends.
Say what you will about this game, but to me it's fun, and it gives me a chuckle every now and then.

The thing is after all the stuff she had to go through losing Joker after Arkham City and Arkham Knight's games she got tired obsessing over Joker, which is why when Boomerang wanted her to do it she rejected it because she was over Joker and wanted to be her own person...though still the psychotic gal she's been even after Joker

I think this would have worked, if he was like an obsessed fan of the real Joker, or maybe someone that worked with Joker in the past. I honestly liked the voice actor, its just a shame this game got screwed up the way it did. So much potential wasted...
That’s a really good point, he feels more like a joker sidekick than the joker. I think since he’s so much younger than the original joker his personality isn’t fully developed

In my opinion, this Joker is...okay.
He's nowhere near as bad as Jared Leto, and the voice actor is clearly having a lot of fun with the role. But the design is just bad, and he's solid proof that Rocksteady has to put Joker in everything even when he's dead.
Jared is an excellent joker compared to this atrocity, especially Snyder's cut version.

It’s probably not the same Arkhamverse. Considering the else worlds plot, I feel like this is some sort of alternate Arkhamverse that might or might not mean we get a Batman Arkham game where both Arkhamverses collide or something like that.

Karliak, who has done voice work for movies, cartoons, and video games (he voiced Wolfgang in the Skylanders series and Dr. N. Really happy that they made the conscious decision to give us more of the crackhead Marilyn Manson joker. I just couldn't get enough of him in that really good, extremely well written and expertly directed Suicide Squad movie that everyone on earth universally loved a lot and remembered forever.
