This is fun and a great way at the end of the year to reflect on what you love, what you think you love, and how your needs and tastes have changed. I like how real you are with your experiences. And how you can let go of things that aren’t working for you. I find it hard to let go of things even when I know I don’t like them just because I know what I spent on them.
To answer your question: yes, I like this style of video and find it very interesting and chatty at the same time ☺️. You give always detailed reasons why a pen is not for you and that helps!
I enjoyed watching this recap, even more so that I think I’ve pretty much watched all of the individual videos you made for each pen. I might have missed it, but have you shared an update on your document black ink experiment? I’m still fighting with my VP, and if I get it to write properly ever again 😭, I might be convinced to use something other than PCB! Maybe part 2? 😁
So true, regarding Lamy Safari fountain pens untwisting on it's own...lol. At times, I'm afraid that I may lose part of the pen during my everyday carry. Now, I will have to carry my Lamy Lx and see the difference as you mentioned.
I loved this!! It's always so interesting to hear about what you loved and what you didn't. I may borrow this video idea as well, to take stock of what I purchased and let go of this year.
I love this review! It got me thinking about the pens I have in my current collection and the I really love and the others that were meh. This is my first year of the hobby so it's been interesting to see what I actually love versus the ones I thought I would love based on others' reviews.
The issue you are having with your violet Blackberry isn't something that happens often in Lamy Safari's you might have warranty on the pen or could go back to where you got it to get an exchange
Yes, I do still have that Bonecrusher and it is not only a beloved blank, but is also a sentimental pen because of the massive favour you did for me!

This was a fun video! Thank you for the effort you put into it!

I absolutely agree with you about pens drying out. There are some pen brands I actively avoid because of this.
thanks for sharing seemownay !!
I love seeing this. It inspires me to sell more pens that don't speak to me.
Appreciate the reflection and inspiration to sell pens that are not working for me, even if they were $$$
I bought that lamy studio in violet and put 14k nib back on it. Ha ha I love it! 😊
Hi, I'll be very interested to buy your Waterman Carene! 😊
1. I put Parallel nibs in Pilot Spare Sign Pen bodies. Around $20. Thanks to Heldin Writes for the advice.
I want that NAGASAWA grarske so badly.
I wish I could afford to buy the Carene in Royal Blue 😞 from you.
