Remember though that BVVD said himself in dev Q&A that they don’t plan on adding those to improve the platforms effectiveness so they’ll probably just improve the current missiles performance and the performance of the platform they already slightly improved the R-73 and gave buffs to the Su-27s/sm
yes sure, however when planes like the eurofighter gets its iris-ts and the american jets get their aim 9x and the nose authority of the f18 it returns back to ground zero, maybe the top taken up by the euro

@MatAWG Almost all PESA's have additional mech scan since PESA wont requier massive active cooling system like AESA, which is mostly fixed and only top end advanced AESA today also have additinal mech scan. So i woudnt call this "hybrid" just a PESA with more wide angles.

The Su-27SM should be upgraded to SM3 standard IMO with R-77-1 and maybeee R-73M. The Su-30SM would also be welcomed with the same air to air armament, but i feel like the MiG-29M/M2/K, MiG-35, and Su-37 should be added. I also believe that the Su-27KUB should be added to the tech tree after the Yak-141.

I honestly always kinda figured that Gaijin would add the SU-37 as an event vehicle or premium since it was a test bed aircraft for thrust vectoring and then whatever major update follows the addition of the Terminator would include the regular tech tree and production model Flankers with TVC.
I rlly hope they will give it normal rate of climb and acceleration characteristics. Other flankers too. I think few here will argue that FM and flight-technical characteristics of flankers are underestimated, while those of its main opponents are often greatly overestimated. R-77 also need improvement, they are terrible.
If it coming, maybe SU-30MKM in Japanese/Britain, SU-30MKI in Britain/USSR, Malaysian F/A-18 C/D in Britain/Japan, Canadian F/A-18 C in Germany, if they were added next upcoming update. This only my predictions and I hope it true lol

My favorite Flanker. Was reading up on this all day. Was good to see this. Hopefully they add this with the F18 along with anti radiation missiles. But tbh, I’d compare the f18 E/F with the 30SM instead of the F18C. But I could see Gaijin adding the F18 E/F with the Su35

Early F18 will be as outdated as the Su33 is, but F18E/F and Su30 would make sense at top tier right now, mostly if an EW mechanic is added, unless they plan to give the F18E/F AIM120C and Su30 R77-1, which in my opinion would be just dumb.

The Chinese have the j20 and j35 and the Russians have the su57, maybe the Mig 1.44/42(if gaijin allows), and in the near future the su75 (if the Russians finish it).

Get the Mig23ML in the Christmas sale and play it in air sim mode and I promise if you’re good enough you’ll have all of the USSR tree before the next update. The Mig23ML br is 11.3 in sim and it’s so easy to seal club in.

Honestly an event vehicle SU-37 Terminator should come before any and all thrust vectoring models imo. Makes most sense to me and also gives Gaijin the advantage of making tons of $$ off the people who love the SU-37 [myself included honestly]

I am pretty sure thrust vectoring engine nozzle (except for VTOL/STOL aircraft like harrier, yak38/141 etc) are interlinked with the stick/pedals

Get the Mig23ML in the Christmas sale and play it in air sim mode and I promise if you’re good enough you’ll have all of the USSR tree before the next update. The Mig23ML br is 11.3 in sim and it’s so easy to seal club in.

As i understand it is only for Su-30SM2 with new engines from Su-35 and (maybe or maybe not) Bars radar replaced with Irbis radar from Su-35.

Honestly an event vehicle SU-37 Terminator should come before any and all thrust vectoring models imo. Makes most sense to me and also gives Gaijin the advantage of making tons of $$ off the people who love the SU-37 [myself included honestly]

Su27SM is practically just a mix of the 3, only the SM3 got the upgraded engines and the double pylon R77s
27SM2 doesn't exist.
