    This channel should blow up. For real, the clear and thoughtful presentation is so welcome in the vocal coaching space on youtube. Timo and extreme vocal academy have been the 2 channels that have reached me and helped me visualize and in turn feel what they are explaining so that I can put these exercises into practice. First time in over 25 years of singing that I have made tangible progress. Thank you Timo!

    Thank you. I like your explanations but I don’t see examples of what exercise to do. So, don’t stick our tongue to far, but what is the exercise to do to help? Thanks

      It really depends on the strength of your yawning muscle. But for example: If it's already stronger you can try to stick out the tongue while singing a phrase or if you are just starting out focusing on keeping the tongue relaxed.

    Timo hello! Can you help me please? Every time I try to yawn my hyoid bone just pull down thyroid cartilage? And this is no right. Can you suggest something ? I just can't yawn properly((( However between hyoid bone and thyroid cartilage is thyroid membrane? And we have to stretch thyroid membrane?

      Hi there! We want to stretch the swallowing muscle and strengthen the yawning muscle. The membrane of the thyroid cartilage gets compressed if you have your thyroid cartilage in a very high position or if the hyoid bone gets pulled down by the sternohyoid muscle.
