The one single cool thing about how the GW writer(s) ended the 'End Times' (may it be cursed by all four Ruinous Powers) was how they at the very least acknowledged the supreme badassery of three or four characters by having them last until the Chaos plot hole - I mean warp hole - swallowed the world.... ...there is no onscreen death for the Green Knight or Abhorash... in fact, the 'friendship' between the two is one of the coolest bits of lore there is, and the image of the two immortal melee masters slaying heaps of unending Chaos spawn somewhere in ruined Bretonnia is a pretty kickass one. (the other two characters I would have been super pissed about them killing onscreen were Skarsnik and Teclis)
I really liked that you showed the military campaign, maybe an idea for a future video, where you go in detail about specific military campaigns and their battles?
Wow, really thanks for this, amazing, so explanatory and greatly helpful to understand more and in each word of it from the very start of the video. Thanks.
I am checking again over the stories and it seems that Ferdinad it's actually called Fredemund (of Aquitanie) mentioned around 14:30, so that might be a sort of "typo".
i like...but i like to distinguish fiction/fantasy from lore...the green knight for example, had an name prior to becoming the green knight...after his death...are when legends and lore were created..to make an sort of god like protector of the children of england.....which...all countries do..grail knights i love....the green knight is one of my favorite folk lore stories...besides stories surrounding the knights of the holy grail...this is an excellent story.
Wait so this guy along with only 14 other grail knights manage to slaughter between them hundreds upon thousands of greenskins, undead, beastmen, norsa berserkers and even skaven but he's felled by (what I can only guess) a single lucky arrow shot? Just how strong/weak is a grail knight exactly? In the game a single grail knight (not a whole group just a single one) would be crushed by a group of ork boys (if not big 'uns for sure). But I can understand that for purely balance reasons but lore wise how far does the grail's power go if you can pretty much face a small army on your own only to be killed by a stab in the back or something?
you mispronounced Gilles, the s is silent and the I sounds like an E in the english language, and it's a very soft g kinda like "Jille" you can pronounce the S as well as long as you do it with a very soft s,... blame the french for their stupid pronounciations.
Do you ever see the map of warhammer ? Is our world. And it's maybe inspire a lot but that's actually the interesting thing : they take our history and match up with fantaisy and that's work !
Great damn channel man!
Thanks man
Grail Knights-Demigods, far superior to mortal men.

Wow I need to thank TH-cam that they recommended your channel. Top quality dude
Loving the lore videos. You may be a small channel now, but you have the heart and soul of any other with several thousand. Looking forward to more.
Thanks very kind of you to say
Agree his lore video's are my favorite by far
I don't know if I would call it ensnaring when the Lady basicly saved Bretonnia at the same time.
Could listen to your voice for days :D thanks for the absolutely great work you make

Great video pal, I especially like the part where one army is "set upon" by another.

This is some archwarhammer level stuff I subbed
Fantastic quality videos. Keep it up!!
wish I could sub multiple times, great content mate!
thanks for blue arrows and circles
The White Dwarf V. The Green Knight.
The greatest simps of the fantasy drinking the Lady's bathwater
Can you recommend any Warhammer novels? I'm new to Warhammer but the universe seems to be quite interesting :)
Bilbo Swagginses Gotrek and Felix. Best damn series there is.
Bilbo Swagginses Don't forget the regimental books, like Grimblade or Iron Company
sword of justice and vengance are amazing
Gileads blood
Vampire wars is pretty cool
very interesting...lady of the lake..where she spins the roles of lore...
Plot twist, the Green Knight was Gilles Le Breton
Giles Le Breton!
This would be such a great action figure! :D
Shame Bretonnia models & those made from pewter are all gone, shame on you G.W., for shame!
I laughted so hard at your pronounciation. But it's okay... still a great video

Could you do a video of the heroes and lore during the end time?

d1zC0rd they had mad skills but bad luck
Maybe extreme buff on combat stats however still mortal men remember there was that knight who bested the reiksmarshall of the Empire
I think extreme skill and offensive stats but normal toughness.
As strong as the plot needs them to be
He took a arrow to the knee
In Short King Arthur is the Green Knight
my favourite hero :D
more videos sir..
You completely mutilated the name of Gilles Le Breton. Otherwise, great video.
At the beginning yes then he moved to an acceptable pronounce. it can be prnounces both with soft g or with the hard one.
Correct me if I am mistaken, but isn't the Lady of the Lake actually the queen of the Wood Elves in disguise?
That was a theory for ages but no turns out the lady of the lake was Lileath the elven goddess of dreams. She comes up a bit too in my Ariel video
also a theory that shes an unknown Chaos deity
@@efraim3364Heresy
@@DNH17 only if you're Bretonnian
@@efraim3364Yes, we will catch him and will be court martialed.
Damn, we need a TV Show or someone need to make a film about these stories from Warhammer.
Not until GW reins in its boner for Space Marines.

Deus vult!
Biggest rip off the King Arthur chronicles I have ever heard. GW are shameless on their unoriginality.
I wonder what Sylvania is supposed to be. Or Bretonnia :D
Bart Fitzgerald or the empire itself lol
Smough Ornstein Oh yeah. It is noway clost to the Holy Roman Empire :D
Holy roman empire? lol no sorry, altough i agree that bretonia is so copied
